Oh boy. To be honest. This actually blows my mind. And not just this, all the demos I've seen. I've been a Win user for all my life and linux user for past years. Lately I've put lot a thought on usability and using experience of the OS. How things are done in current OS I'm using. I think OS X has the most intuitive using experience of all. Mac is my next machine, unquestionably! I must get deeper into this to get more experience! :)

What does he use it for? Shit just today, I was checking email. I saved a picture from a harmless email and all of the sudden, my PC just blew up with spyware and trojan virus'! I got a notification from the fbi website that some kind of trojan "scareware" shit is spreading right now, and low and behold I just got it not even 12 hours later. When these people write these malicious programs, they write them to infect certain OS.  If I had a Mac, I wouldn't have had that problem today.

Yeah, Mac rapes you on price. It's rediculous. I'm interested in finding out why they cost nearly twice as much.  The Mac Pro tower just came out with a 3.33GHz processor. With that and 3 GB ram, it comes out to about $4000!!!! I really want one, but god damn.

@DECTWENTYONE2012. I had a mac too. 24 inch imac. I used it side by side next to my windows 7 system. What was great is the user interface and how pretty everything looks, very fun to use. But after a few weeks I felt like I was disabled using it in comparison to windows. Then I sold it. Windows feels like a car with all the controls you can think of. Whilst osx is like a car with only one pedal but it has glitter on it. Oh yeah I hate osx leopard mouse acceleration curve, it's retarded.

I'm through with PCs my second laptop just crashed and I am debating getting a MAC. In anyone's opinion should I? or should I stick with windows. I do a lot of artsy stuff btw (videos, pictures, writing, designing etc). Suggestions please. Thank you in advance

I'm not speaking from experience with a mac persay. Recently though I've been wanting to switch to mac. Given the things you'd use your computer with, it seems like an awesome decision to make. I really don't see any drawbacks of switching to mac os x, besides maybe windows software compatibility. However, just because a windows program wont work on it, doesn't mean you can't find the equivalent for a mac.
