I was working at channel nine that nite as a tape operator wen we got an order by fone to take the current show off and go to cheers which was already on a 2nd machine in case sumthing went wrong and we had to go to cheers... Yup I can still remember it lol TAKE THAT FUCKING SHIT OFF NOW!!! Who is to argue with the man who owns the station haha That woz a long time ago :) A part of my career in TV

No I got promoted to on air presentation co-ordinator (I put everything to air) Basically I was in charge of the station broadcast live to air :) Mr Packer was a good boss, he would give us xmas hampers every xmas and these hampers were huge!

it was pre-recorded... so was Hey Hey its Saturday. They recorded that on a Friday night and it was put on a 2 hour reel of film and played bak on saturday. Very rarely was it live. Going Live with hey hey was a lot of work and a lot of stuff ups behind the cameras. It was hell and u couldnt stop to think if sumthing went wrong. U just had to deal with it asap! Television is very hard work and stressfull.
