I`ve been playing 9 years now, I`m 15, but have alot of trouble playing for audiences. I can play anything anyone asks me, Spanish Fly, Paganini Caprice # 5, In my owns rhythems, my style is all over the place. I just can`t do ANYTHING in front of a crowd of more than 5 people. Any advice Adam?

@TomorrowTellMe i get nervous every time I play in front of a crowd. you have to remember that its good to be nervous to a certain extent. that's what drives me to practice before I go on stage. I know the more prepared I am, the more relaxed I will be. The other advice is to look at how you perceive a crowd. Don't dwell on what happens if you making mistake. Rather, realize that you are entertaining them, and you can feed off the positive emotions they feel because of your performance.

@TomorrowTellMe Yes. A great guitarist once told me if you get nervous in front of people it's because there's too much ego in it. You're wanting people to judge you and not listen to the music. Just say to yourself "Here's a song I like. It's the best I can do on it. Hope you get the idea of why this piece means so much to me." After I internalized that message, I stopped get the shakes in front of people and have enjoyed playing for friends ever since. Hope that helps.

I wonder what the judges look for in these competitions. You sound very good from what I can tell even though the sound is low. All I can say is keep on trucking. If I had a recording company I would sign you. It would be for the next big boy band. Joking ;)

Blown away. I've seen videos of Ewan Dobson and tbh, I think you're far more harmonically and rhythmically intricate and rich. But that's jus my opinion:) Keep er lit.

I competited for the Montreal guitar grand prix and he also won.

That's where i first heard of him, and i have to say i'm not surprised he is with candyrat now,

I'm not a huge fan of him, but he still is incredible.
