Paul love your work. Question on how the two coils are connected. Does the center or the start winding of the primary coil physically connect to the bottom or start of the secondary?
very interesting In further study I did see that the secondary is connected to ground correct? And is the primary not also connected to ground as well?
ok got it. I was looking at another schematic of there version of the Tesla Coil and they had it grounded to the earth as well but it was in parallel to the other ground connection.
now for a tesla coil, how small can they go that they would say, bridge a gap t oa ground wire. could i power it by smaller voltages if a made a small 1?
lol this is awesome,i would like instructions on how to make a mini tesla coil too if u can. maybe even power it from a joule theif?. this would be very cool
how do you connect the toroid to the second coil?

Use two grounds one for each coil.
Hope this helps

HI, There are no Physical Connections Just the Magnetic Flux and Inductance Transfers the Energy.
Interesting Is it not....

The Secondary Coil Needs a Ground (Earth) Connection Separate tot the Primary.... or So they say...

Look at Dereks coils:
watch?v=512hVRIO-NQ
They are run off batteries...
Nice...

I plan on doing a small one but at the moment I think a joule thief would not have enough Watts to Break out to Lightning....

i wish the world was 100% efficient and it sucks that it isnt. and if it was u could make unlimated voltage.

I think there must be Balance otherwise if you strike a match you would not want it scorch the entire world.
But I agree that it would be good if we could tap into some Clean Power that would cost almost nothing to produce!
