The Otterbox's screen protector is for storage or transport only, you have to remove it to use the iPad. However the Gumdrop screen protector is always on and protecting the screen. Not everyone seems to understand that for some reason.

To those saying they removed the otterbox screen protector, you are incorrect. though your otterbox defender for the iphone has a screen protector, the iPad defender DOES NOT. I have one and am switching to the Griffin for my ipad2.
