Awesome vid thanks for the info. That looked soooo good. I think I am going to make that real soon. I love to put apple sauce in my cake bater to cut the sugar now i have a better applesauce! :)
This looks great & easy. I'll definitely have to try this. I've never been a huge fan of applesauce but I don't know why because I love everything that goes into it so it should be one of my favorite foods. Maybe it is the type of apples used in the store bought kind. My grandmother has a hard time eating stuff, so this would be a great thing to take to her. Thanks, I'll be trying it. I have to go to the grocery store tomorrow so I'll try to pick up the supplies. :)
allison I love your vids..just found you and watched them all at once. you inspire me. your house is pretty..is it site built, modular, or a trailor? it's awesome looking kitchen.
Thank you :) I'm not sure what the technical name for my house would be... it's just a trailor I guess :) It's fairly big though, 2100 sq. feet. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and an extra office. lol It's not your average trailor lol
Oh man, that looks soooooo GOOD! and I can have it on my diet too, because in phase 2 of South Beach Diet we get fruit. Have you ever used red delicious? I might try that. I also mix apple sauce into my filling for apple pie. Kinda helps blend everything together.
I use the skin peelings to make apple chips - i haven't done this, but maybe you could sprinkle some cinnamon and brown sugar and spritz of salt, drizzle a little vegetable oil across the top, and broil til crispy. Semi-healthy sweet snack!! (I'm all about semi-healthy hahaha).
Tasty
