I remember when I was Christian. My family and I went to see Jesse Duplantis , a popular Televangelist..When we got to the church that was hosting, there was a book store , cafe , and vending machines inside the church LOL. Then, when we went to take our seats, the "Ushers" who were really " Bouncers" were pushing people, literally pushing people , around to get them where they wanted them, kinda like a cattle round up.. was disgusting

@JessecaFlores1979 Amen! Jesse Duplantis is now considered a fake by more credible pastors. It makes me sick when clergy markets their churches like fun parks. The last 2 Baptists churches I attended had POOL TABLES. I've nothing against pool, not even having a beer while you play it. But when it's used as ploy to "make church fun" - it's revolting. If Jesus isn't enough for the goats they wrangle in, it's time for some pool tables to be turned over.

daafith , look ,I think part of the desire that people have for a God to exist is rooted in the wishes of the opressed and poor folks of the world to seek justice for their situation. But , that doesn`t make him real , and being content with some ethereal afterlife where you get lots of free cookies and a soft pillow for your head is playing straight into the hands of those who are profiting from you. Great job! I liked how you contrasted Paul Washer with Ted Haggard. I wish we had more preachers like Mr. Washer who are seeking to promote Christ and His power and not their own self image. Keep up the great work!

Amen Sister. These people who call themselves Christians are embarrassing. They are so much worse than an atheist IMO. At least an atheist is true to himself. I loved the contrast between Haggard (sp?) with Paul Washer. No comparison.

AMEN! I'd much rather deal w/atheists than fakes. Atheists are just people telling the TRUTH about how they feel. Wolves & goats who parade around as sheep CAN'T tell any TRUTH about anything cause they're not even honest with themselves. By puttin the entire focus on the Lamb of God, Washer's words here perfectly disspell the smoke-in-mirror routines of self-oriented, humanist brothels that some call "church." I heard those people considered reinstating Haggard after his scandal. Heil Haggard!
