no offense taken! :) I tried many many guitars before buying the Menace and they all 'spoke' to me whereas the Menace 'sang' to me ;) everyone has their own tastes :) thanks for the comment!

It wasn't easy to get put it that way lol. The pickups are Smoky Coils, 490R (neck) and 498T (bridge). Some people say that they can be a little too bright, but personally i think they're ideal for that metal sound. :)

Anyway, love the cover. I've been going through Rammstein covers for a while, and you actually do ALL of the guitar areas, and not skipping out on some of them like I've seen some people do. Also, I see Green Day next to a Rammstein poster. Awkward.

I now know what I need to do. Cover the vocals of a Rammstein song. I'll sound so stupid because I'm a girl, but atleast I'd be able to sing it right. :D

are the strings 1 2 und 3 the only ones played? i just tried to play it and it sounds like the 1st and 2nd stings are the only ones that are supposed to be played

the first 3 strings are mainly used during any kind of dropped tuning, so yes, only the first 3 are played :)

though there's some points in the song where i use some variations which i use all strings to harmonize a few of the chords. but that was just my idea to kind of make the guitar sound "fuller" :)

what brand of strings do you use, i cant find a brand that has the wounded G string

I use "D'Addario Jazz Light Gauge" strings (.52-.12) the gauges of the strings are .12 - .16 - .24(w) - .32(w) - .42(w) - .52(w).

Don't let the "Jazz Light Gauge" name put you off haha. These strings are perfect for down-tuning all the way to Dropped C and last a very long time. Far far better than Ernie Ball strings which i used to use.

For this song i think it was Dropped C tuning. The tuning for that is: C-G-C-F-A-D.

Basically the thickest string down-tuned 2 full steps and the rest of the strings down-tuned one full step :) Hope this helps!

lol awesome! :D it is an amazing guitar, such a good raw sound. The neck on mine is pretty smooth :) shiny aswell because the satin finish has worn down on it, and the back and front of the body is worn down to the wood in places too, love it :D cheers for the comment!
