DC has been rattled ever since the plane crash and would probably be world champion should Mclaren had favored him in the 200 and 2002 seasons!

i dont know if the plane crash rattled him it certainly wont have done him any favours but i think the demise of his form was abolishing the old 12 lap qualifiying, i dont think he ever got pole with the new system and struggled to get anywhere near the front, his best chance was in 2000 but it wasnt to be, DC does have the worst luck in the world his last race really summed up his career luck wise. and whens he finally going to peg louise goodman? actually he probably has lol

True - I never thought having just one lap was ever any good and when the new format suited him he was in a car which was never going to get Pole. Even in the ROC last weekend had the timing of that had been right he'd have beaten Loeb easily.

David Coulthard is currently the 4'th most successful F1 driver in total amounts of points collected and he is also 4'th in the total podium list ever. He must be doing something right.

David Coulthard is underrated.He had 3 champions as team mates. Damon Hill,Mika Hakkinen and Kimi Raikkonen. He beated team mates younger than him like Klien and has outscored his highly regarded team mate Webber. I'd rather sign him than Barrichello,Ralf Schumacher or Giancarlo Fisichella. In a good car he is still a winner.

I think this shows that they are not that close as friends but, are both obviously working with each other to achieve great goals. Why do team mate need to be close anyway, David and Mark are both looking in the same direaction as the team. And thats something Webbers never had. GO RED BULL!!!!!

Very short response on how they get along but I hope they get along better than Webber's body language suggests! Always liked DC and Webber and thrilled they are teammates and hope RB can go far in 2008/9 and Webber to win the World C'ship!

All they need now is reliability and points will be in the bag. They're as fast (if not faster) than Renault and Toyota.

I also have so much respect for what David Coulthard is doing. He knows he won't win a championship but is willing to spend his last few championships building the team up, simply for his love of the sport. And, to be honest, he looks a whole lot more happy than he did when he was with McLaren.
