The Great Misdirect probably was most disappointing to me because it didn't have as many odd moments like the hoe down or any smooth jazz/elevator music interspersed etc. It just didn't have as many surprises for me as Colors. I really hope they can make another album that good again.
Does anyone agree with me or am I alone on this one?
The Great Misdirect is just kinda boring in comparison to me...
may i just call to question one thing...how can this video be so short...i mean shouldn't you just post everything btbam has ever done...that would seem to be my list of best btbam moments...i couldn't possibly choose because every single song is amazing in it's own way
if i would compare between the buried and me with say an actor i would say will smith for example-----will smith-every movie he comes out with is now one of the best movies around, and btbam-every song/cd they produce is like a fuckin miracle or better cuz thats what they do its either better or just plain amazing
Between The buried and me is so unique with their sound its hard to catagorize their most awesome parts. Between The buried and me have no bad songs and they get better with each and every album. Pure Genius
You know, you just made me realize that there isn't one song by them that I instantly change when it comes on like every other band I listen to. The only thing I don't like is the shitty sound on their first cd, which is still a great cd.
@Deoxysdog idk, its amazing it all, but i think mordecai AND ad a dglgmut own it since theyre both on TSC, but Alaska, Backwards Marathon, Selkies, and Lazer speed own.
Ive never heard anything musically that compares to colors, and no deathcore like the self titled, and no prog. deathcore/metalcore like TSC.
Im surpised there is no Shevanel Cut A Flip bar scene/jazzy riff in there...I think that is one of the craziest things I've ever heard, but the weird thing with all of these kind of odd "moments" is that they all fit perfect...btbam is incredible
granted thats a great (understatement) solo but considering the other moments on the list i think the hidden track on silent circus shouldve been number 1
During the "Hoe Down" all you hear is Dusty talking. He did all the voice over during that part, he says "What da hell you lookin at over'dare" and Blake yelling "STOP, STOP!"
Mordecai in general was amazing, but the ending is the greatest thing ever written, along with the ending solo to Selkies. The intros to Alaska and Prequel to the Sequel- I could just listen to them all day. It's like a drug.
job well done but you should check out some of their earlier stuff off of their self titled cd. lots of weird shit on there. btw selkies is the greatest solo out there and no one can deny that after hearing it even if they cant tolerate the chaos in the first couple minutes of the song.
