  • If it was to be below 4GB and Handbrake takes 100MB off, then surely you should put it at 4149MB?

  • really nice vid thnx

    helped alot

  • on my computer handbrake says my resoulution must be 1090x620 or higher wtf?

  • Does this still work to play on ps3 atm? dnt want to go through all this trouble for it to not work.. + is there any way to burn the movie to a dvd and play it via ps3 as a bluray movie?

  • @NeilMcaUK yeah get dvdfab or anydvd

  • if you buy an external harddrive you can play bigger files... nubs.

  • @VulgerNinja Obviously you miss the point of this video. PS3 can only read a FAT32 hard-drive format. FAT32 can only store media files up to 4GB in file size. Intill Sony has new firmware or a new ISO for the PS3 that can read NTFS or any other hard-drive formats that does not have a file size cap. This is the only way to watch stored Blu-ray/HD movies off an external/internal hard-drive.

    BTW - Nubs is for Newfags.....Newfag ^_^

  • @Zerologic85 You can get FAT32 that stores up to 16GB

  • @garydagod

so, the ps3 will still only read 4gb media files, but you can have mutiable media files on one drive

  • @VulgerNinja on fat32? noob

  • hey man I was wondering when you do this does it compress the file to 3.99 gb so i dont not have to split the movie into two files?

  • @tfeeney05 Yes you don't have to split the movie into two files when using this program. You can compress the movie into 3.99GB and still maintain great quality while the movie is still in a single file.

  • i love u thanks

  • I have a question, i use vuze and it is pretty quick, but is it decent for this? I used it yesterday to download the blu-ray inception that was 1.20gb in about just at 2 hours.

  • @rp94cobra Vuze is fine, whatever bit-torrent program you wanna use is fine. It's all really just a matter of preference. I personally like using utorrent because it's fast, easy, and it's a very small app.

  • THANK YOU! THIS ROCKS! JUST GOT MY SLIM 160gb YESTERDAY WITH 320gb EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE! :)

  • I like this video, very informative! THANX!

  • Great video man. Thanks for all the help.

  • Lol Evan, this video makes me wanna give you a evil chicken sandwich

  • hey, I love the video and all the help you've given, however, for some reason when I try to create the HD videos they keep getting output at 4.19GB when I set it to 4050mb, I've tried moving the mb down a little and it went down to 4.14GB, I'm now trialling it at 3800mb, im just a little worried, if I need to take it down any lower, will it start impacting the quality of the video? oh and my aspect ratio is slightly different to yours, I have 1920x1080, do I need to manually change it?

  • @Chrom3maGik Some MKV files may act weird during the conversion process. I had a very similar problem when i converted Star-Wars Episode 3. I converted the MKV exactly like all my other videos, using the same layout and it still came out to be over 4GB for some reason. I would just keep adjusting the file size until your final HD video is between 3.95-4GB. You won't lose to much quality if your video is between 3.5-4GB, but i would just keep converting until you got that 4GB file size. ^_^

  • @Zerologic85 okay, thanks for the advice, I've been looking for ages to see how to make HD videos to work on PS3, you're a legend :D

  • @Chrom3maGik no prob, glad i could help. ^_^

  • @Chrom3maGik as far as the resolution size is concerned, I would just keep the screen size on the strict picture settings, and leave the crop and proper resolution size on auto. The reason i recommend leaving it on auto is because the crop will cut out and make the image size even automatically, so that it will fit perfectly on your HD-TV. If you need to do it manually because you have a special T.V. or want to view the video on an HD monitor, I would just adjust the settings to your liking. ^_^

  • you are the best ty

  • @0oguyfrommarso0 thanx ^_^

  • what the heck were u doing??
