@brando92346 Yeah, you're correct. Sorry. I looked at it more closely. They look identical until you get to a shot of the conductor. I find it interesting that the camera shots would be identical starting with the conductor, then the timpany, then the back shot of a violinist and the sheet music. It all looked like the same video to me. Thanks for clarifying.
This is just a godlike piece of music... I am incredibly lucky to be one of the few people being in the audience this very evening and see this LIVE...!! I was not able to hold back my tears of joy and so I am again by watching this video now. Riccardo Chailly is such a great character and Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig can be proud to call him their conductor!
The last note sounds a little soft. Interesting ending... =)

Dear poster. This video marked "part two" is exactly the same as the previous video marked "part one." Do you have the 2nd part?
brando92346 7 months ago
@brando92346 No it's correct, this is the second part, a sort of "da capo" which means a repeat of the first part but the video is not the same

This performance is brilliant.
Sure, the combination: Chailly and Gewandhaus is really spetacular.
