The first pressing of the commercial CD, that had Silvestri's score on it, too, had two cues from Nyman's rejected score; it was manufactured when some of Nyman's score might still be in the film, but they didn't end up doing that, and they recalled it and made a new pressing without the two Nyman cues.

It was pulled and replaced with the new one with just Silvestri's cues. If you search Amazon.com used, and eBay, you'll eventually find the original pressing. Probably doesn't go for a lot. Anyway, no need -- I'm sure (with no inside info) we'll get a complete release of both scores in due course.

@tharpdevenport I have the version with the Nyman cues, but it doesn't have the Silvestri cues, and I have never seen a pressing that has both. It must be exceedingly rare. I have a bootleg of the complete Nyman score.

Sí, es fantástico el hombre, ¿cómo no quererlo? El soundtrack de "Practical Magic" se quedó en el tintero... él compuso la música pero al final lo despidieron. Mal por la peli que se quedó con una música de Alan Silvestri algo floja.
