I feel for Massa. He outperformed Raikonnen for 2 years 08+09 pre Hungary crash. Nearly got the championship in 08. He is a force to be reckoned with and anyone who discounts him this year for the title is an idiot! I would not be suprised if he out scores Alonso by the end of the season.

Massa is capable of mixing it with the best in the world as he showed in 2008. Unfortunately he also showed once again that driving in the wet is his major flaw. British BG, how many times did he spin the Ferrari? Raikkonen too (whilst Lewis Hamilton was lapping 6 seconds a lap faster than anyone else). Massa: Great guy, great driver, shit in the wet ... period. Some drivers just are.

Well he's never driven in F1 without some form of traction control/throttle help/electronics aiding him. I know all the other drivers do, too, but Felipe's wet weather efforts are often poor.

I do rate him highly, though. He's come on strong. Hopefully in '10 he can take the fight to Alonso!
