Scharfschutzen1, the book that claimed that Eisenhower oversaw the mistreatment of German POWs has been proven to be the work of shoddy scholarship and wild accusation. Look up historian's Steven Ambrose's comments on this, he puts it far more eloquently then I. Lets stay away from wild and non sensible conspiracy theories.
