@lafoutloud9999 Here is what I don't understand. Why have a pet if you are going to lock them outside?? That is not a pet, that is a poor defenseless animal locked outside. Ferrets are dirty, most use the box in their cages but out of the cage, I have only ever had one that was 100% potty trained. You should do your research before you bring a ferret home. I suggest you find a home for your ferret, where he isn't going to be locked outside.

Ferrets sleep most of the day. You can get a Ferret Nation one or two level cage for them to sleep in but it's good to let them out in a ferret proof environment at least 4 hours throughout each day.

@zarcon7 at least play with them for 30 mins on the ground playing wrestle and stuff and for like a hour than just let them roam around the room. Try to have food and water plus a litter box outside of the cage for them..
