so i can help, i had same problem on my eeepc and only what i did was, shut down PC put battery out , sats PC and than go to device manager, in batteries -> microsoft ACPI-compliant control method battery -> uninstall, shut down PC, put back battery, and starrt PC, it's ok! :)
