I still like this logo though. Modern looking. They had the worst announcer and music together with one of their better logos.

The intersection looks like the mousetrap, but I could be wrong ... and agreed it's lame. KMGH went through a string of weird, stupid opens (I think the Real Life, Real News was a bit much, too). This was also using the localized version of the World News Tonight package. I'm glad they have a decent open now.

Definitely on the flyover, the Mousetrap, but that looks nothing like it on that other dark clip... looks very deserted.

Agree on hkfreak's comments. They were coming off of the Real Life Real News era...and looked like it. Not one of KMGH's best opens :P Thankfully this didn't last for long....they changed to the current logo a few months after this.

Again, this is so cheesy, poorly-made, and cheap. I really don't get why they show such a shot of that intersection.

@hkfreak Probably because they were waiting for TVbD to get back to them about what would become their late 1990s package - or they needed to recover from Real Life Real News and saw "NEW: ABC News Affiliate Music Package" and jumped at the chance to have a temporary look in place that wasn't so bad.
