  • eleven of you people are stupid! [iminent=BdBRn7YVffOB]

    _____________

I have just posted a cool BigEmo!

  • Please forgive us thunder1road, that no one has bothered to thank you for uploading this really great song by a really great singer/entertainer & a really fantastic video & message. It's pathetic that nobody is willing to concede that white, black, Indian & others have built this nation. We have added both poss. & neg to the welfare of our nation. We need to learn to accept each other. Racism is poison. Hate is a cancer! It spreads & kills. It doesn't discriminate. Thanks again God bless.

  • @CintiRailFan I have much better things to do than to get mix up in this dribble that's being spilled across youtube that's shared by every ethnic group in the world. I have news for you. we're here! So deal w/ it. We are all made in the image of God & he LOVES all of us. One ethnic group alone has not caused the economical mess that we all share. NO RACE IS SUPERIOR TO ANOTHER!!! This silly backward thinking is not right w/ God. Do your self a favor. Love for others is a better way to go.

  • @CintiRailFan,The biggest crime in history hit America. George Bush & Republicans bankrupt this country & othes. Millions of people of all colors have lost homes, jobs & families. It's racist people like you that supported Bush. Bush is the biggest traitor & criminal in the history of America, yet not one white person calls it a crime or thinks he and others should be in jail. So if you going to talk about crime, start at top,you won't find any Blacks at the top with Bush and the GOOD OLD BOYS

  • What a beautiful and inspiring video! Electing Obama does not end the struggle however. He does not deserve to be listed next to Malcom or Martin. He is more like George Bush and Bill Clinton. Democrats are as sold out as the Republicans. Change is not coming through politics because big money owns both parties. The rich 1% control our government. Red and Blue, Black and White, Men and Women we all need to pull together, all 99%, until it's 100%!! One for all and all for one!

  • ALL I CAN SAY IS LORD HAVE MERCY! THIS IS SUCH A TOUCHING AND SAD SONG AND THE VIDEO BRINGS BACK SO MANY MEMORIES! WHEN WILL WE EVER BE FREE.

  • I WISH A CHANGE WOULD COME

  • @javalin2213 No one asked for your ignorant comments....nothing wrong with interracial relationships. That is a change thats happened that you can fall in love with someone whatever race and not be persecuted

  • I'm going to watch this again, when I stop crying.

  • @commonman80 Hey how are you doing. I don't know if you remember me. We ran across each other sometime ago. You are still on my prayer list. God bless you, buddy. Keep enjoying the song & message.

  • @outerspaceoutpost, Thanks. :-)

  • To the creator of this video...I have to say that this was one of the most touching videos I have ever seen in my entire 45 years of being on this earth. I absolutely loved it so much that it brought tears to my eyes based on all of the struggles that we as a people have been threw and still to this day...equality is still a smoke screen that will never ever be fully granted to us. Thank you again for this touching and heart felt video. Stay Blessed, Educated and most importantly...LOVED!!!

  • Has black illiteracy increased since desegregation?

  • im mout to cry

  • @reddmanjr3,Your exactly the type of person I was speaking of,another Black fatherless chil, way to many of you out there! A sophomore in college, your making head way good. I recommend your writings meet up to your education. As for the tattoos, explain them to your grand kids.Today I challenge you to finish in top 20 % of your class & do something great with your life..By the way, finish in the top 20%,I will give you a $1000 dollars. Now pull up your pants & get to class ! Get paid ! God Bless

  • @artisphillipsjr NOT solely an African-American issue, just as many white young-folks saggin'. What's with the facial & body piercing. You folks keep bytching about "fatherless" black kids, when you got 14 & 15 year old white kids pumping out babies to make it big on TV. Dare to talk about the white men starting famlies with the nanny and housekeepper? You can't see that stuff right, everything is hunky-dory. Best to take that $1000 & take a refresher course in writing yourself.

  • So beautiful.

  • @artsphillpsjr I dont see how you can juge a person because their pants are sagging you cant know shit about some one untill you have sat down and talked to that person i get pissed when ppl talk about young black men and how they ware their pants juge em by what they do get to know that person before you open your mouth

  • powerful!!!!!

  • Sam, you have always touched me!! I believe you when you sing - such expression and openess moves me...

  • great video!!!!--don't see Big Paul!!

  • DDG19881,GOOD TO HEAR YOUR BACK IN THE REAL WORLD,I PROMISE YOU NOT MANY OF OUR BLACK YOUNG BROTHERS ARE GETTING HIRED AT THE BEST JOBS WITH THEIR PANTS HANGING OFF THEIR ASS'S,AS BLACK PEOPLE WE NEED TO COME TOGETHER AND EDUCATE OUR PEOPLE,WE ARE LOSING GROUND EVERYDAY!

  • Our Young Black men walking the streets with their ass's hanging out, is the the change our for fathers died for, young men making babies they dont take care of,is this the change we been waiting on? Black America is missing in action. White America has Black Americans right where they want Blacks to be,on the bottom and with out power, with out education. What happen to Black Pride, we traded it for pants hanging off a stupid Black Ass, Young Black Men wake up your a joke !

  • @artisphillipsjr no nee to judge boo, lets just continue to be the change we wanna see in the world. Change has come, and is continually coming, work is not done, the journey ain't over til the sun swallows us.

  • @artisphillipsjr dont worry a change is coming i changed my ways im a young black man i be trying to talk some sense into my friends but we need to come together as a people and realize the damage that has been done

  • @artisphillipsjr You are the only person to speak and the truth about this young generation. I am tired of seeing these young men this way to, We don,t have any black postive people who will talk to these men anymore. How sad we are going down the wrong road, and they don,t understand how people are looking at them and laughing. There are alot of smart black men out there but instead they want to be act ignorant. WHAT A SAME.

  • @artisphillipsjr You said it . . .

  • @artisphillipsjr Yo fuck you.. who are you to judge.. Im 19 and a sophmore at UTSA and I still sagg and have tattoos and when I graduate its gonna be some pants hanging off an educated black ass which you can kiss by the way... My dad was no where for me when I was groing up and he doesn't sagg at all so take your old bitter ass on somewhere cuz the fact that you sagg doesn't make you stupid focus on other shit not how we wear our pants and maybe we will listen.

  • @reddmanjr3 your an idiot..Go troll a soulja boy video about how you wear your pants..Nobody here gives a damn..Sagging may not make you stupid, but it sure as hell does make you look like a jail ridden coon..The fact that you trying to justify it shows how flawed your logic is...Educated or not if I saw you with your pants hanging low on your ass you'd get judged like every other idiot who wears his pants like that.Stay in your lane or smarten up clown..

  • @artisphillipsjr very well said brotha..The fact that anyone can come here and give reasons why the "Sagg" yet talk about how educated they are is the exact thing that you were speaking off..Our youth is lost that it shames me as an african american male sometimes..Anyone who got offended and or mad told of themselves and I don't blame you for calling them out.Educated or not nobody wants to see your underwear. To whites your just another uneducated coon when you act in that manner. Well said bro

  • @artisphillipsjr What have you done to make changes artisphillipsjr? There is room for you to partake in making change you know. It certainly won't happen any faster from you just sitting aroud and griping about the wrong you see. "DO" SOMETHING!

  • @misnomer58 You are so right!

  • @misnomer58 HERES MY E MAIL, SEND ME YOURS ! blackrussianproductions@yahoo.com

    Thanks God Bless

  • @artisphillipsjr The problem with mankind is quite simple,A lack of God and the things of God,Sin will Destory a Nation. Jesus is the same ,Yesterday ,Today and Forever,LOVE IS THE GREATEST THING I KNOW,Love thy neighbor as thyself,Can I hear an AMEN?

  • @artisphillipsjr Definately agreed. But i'll tell u a hidden agenda that the white government wants of your people. Every time a black leader rises to prominence, they are killed. Martin Luter King Jr. and especialy Malcolm X. Malcolm was going to bring revolution like a fire in the dried cotton fields. Your people already of music and atheletics. that's enough power for you guys. Even 2pac, though not a good example of a good leader, he exposed them the government so they killed him.

  • @artisphillipsjr Amen!

  • @artisphillipsjr If you and your culture are abused enough then you don't know nothing about doing the right thing as your father and your fathers father and so on struggle terribly both with the damage done & the inability to change the record. I know these things only to well & avoid most of the fall out by not going where the goods are so damaged. It really is not as easy as you describe with their asses hanging out, I know not whether you're the punchline or the punch bag, punch drunk maybe!

  • @davidoffon ,WHAT DO U KNOW. I MARCH & WALK THE STREETS OF OAKLAND WITH ASHOT GUN,WITH PEOPLE LIKE HUEY NEWTON,BOBBY SEAL,ELDRIDGE CLEAVER,ANGELA DAVIS,DICK GREGORY & WAS IN JACKSON MISSISSIPPI WHEN THEY WERE HANGING BLACK MEN.WE MADE THE CHANGES IN MY TIME! YOUR WHITE & YOU WANT SEE BLACKS LOOK STUPID,YOU WANT TO HEAR THEM CALL THEIR BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMEN BITCHES IN THEIR SONGS. WE MARCHED NOT TO BE CALLED A NIGGER AND SOME DIED FOR IT. I LIVED IN RUSSIA, UKRAINE,ONLY BEEN A NIGGER IN AMERICA

  • @artisphillipsjr You forgot to tell me how stupid you are, but that is okay as it is obvious, you obviously have no clue as to how I think, but that's not a problem, as for enlightening you, that would be a wast of time. You shout a lot which is a suitable past time for some one saying nothing!! You haven't taken up the offer of free dental work I see, as you are still with us!!

  • @artisphillipsjr, I appreciate the honesty, sometimes we all need a swift kick in the ass to get us straight. lol I would encourage you to go out and talk to some of those YBM and drop the science on them (though I know most won't listen). Don't give up on us fam, we ain't all a joke.......

  • @artisphillipsjr Black America has come a long way but it certainly has a long way to go. Civil Rights ain't dead yet.

  • @artisphillipsjr the ones with their pants hanging down is very ready to kick your ass fool !

  • Whoa...............GREAT VIDEO !!!

  • i love this song and cry evertime i hear it...oh god! how i cry....i know a change gonna come..i know a change gonna come

  • Man I couldn't make it halfway through this vid without breaking down. If you see a black elder, give him/her a hug and thank them for managing to live through the worst so that we might have a shot at the best.

  • sad song just simply brilliant

  • @robcoish Plese don't think of it as sad, but inspiring & do all you can to help this country & ALL people see America restored. Keep the FAITH! I know I need to do more myself.

Wonderful video & of course Cook is always the awesome!

  • @ohiodixiechick2

  • @ohiodixiechick2

sam cooke will never grow old, the voice!!!! is what i call him.

this song is my all time fav.

  • #occupywallstreet

  • i love the song, beautiful, almost our future, however, lets be honest Obama is just as worse as Bush, if not worst...Ugly presidents - What we really need is LOVE, with a capital L - we need to stop killing people in the name of democracy - whether its a black president or a WHITE PRESIDENT....colour is pointless, because America still kills Afghanistan's, Iraq kids, central america socialists etc etc America is the retard capitalist nation, deserving of no one

  • Sam you sure can send me

  • This is neither a black or white issue, this is about a legend who I hold a VERY high respect for. This video portray's a very serious background to the day's of slavery and thank god we have moved on from those days. However the judical system in the USA will continue to make this happen. This quote: you white folk will pay for what you have done. I just hope to be alive to see it.

screwface1011 <<<< This is the most ridiculous statement I have read in a long time.

  • 2:30

  • What a great site. the enemy is neither black nor white,

    neither male nor female

the enemy is the dull mind.

    enjoy peace.

  • @livnpeas Dull minds don't get that way by themselves! There can't be peace without justice!

  • Comment removed

  • if there is balance and a Most High God in this universe, you white folk will pay for what you have done. I just hope to be alive to see it.

  • this video gave me the chills .. its really amazing how far we've come

  • @lg910gurl Your comment is the typical mind set however, it's not so. We have not come from a long way ...we've FALLEN from a long way and we need to find our way back. Nothing but peace, love and happiness to you and yours.

  • @lg910gurl or its amazing how not far they WERE

  • @lg910gurl

Not really. Your "people" are still the dregs on society.

  • Slavery , in America Like One of The Most Places ,where it happens ' Now Look Where Black People Have Reached , This Goes 2 Show dont understimate anyone

  • sistersotrue28 thanks for sending me this video I really enjoyed it....

  • This video and this piece - I call it a documentary is so very powerful emotive and thought provoking. We've come a long way and we yet have so very far go! Great Job papa - This is Legendary and I'm loving it. I'm a big cry baby particularly when it comes to the injustices that we've consistently been served down through the years so with that being said you already know what happened as I was watching your film... Thanks for making this!

  • Love it.

  • very nice and beautiful

  • so beutifull, makes me want to cry!!!

  • Nobody likes pain. Nobody likes suffering.

But there is glory in it.

  • @NE9JFH Does it matter?

  • You had me up until Obama. lol He may be a horrible president but it is a striking symbol of how blacks now have equal opportunity.

  • We all (non blacks) will pay for the sin of our forefathers, The Slavery of the African man & woman. We don't have Human Eyes & heart.

  • @appatel

What do you mean by not having having human eyes and heart? Just curious :)

  • @mikeyyeeha

I meant, we (non blacks) does not have heart & eyes( ability to see) , otherwise we would not have enslave another fellow human.

  • STOP!! showing pictures of Obama. He is not Mr. Soul, he is no John Kennedy, he is not Martin Luther, he is not Robert Kennedy. He is incompentent and does not understand real reform or how to handcuff Wall St and regulate them.

  • we free of da white man but now slaves to da hood in debt 4rm it keepin up dry 4rm da rain but what we do in it keeps it rAINING

  • On New York's upper west side is a school. Outside is a small tree. Under that tree is a brass plaque of remembrance for Andrew Goodman a Jewish white 20 year old who believed in freedom and equality so strongly that he went down to Mississippi to help register African Americans to vote. Because of this he was murdered by the KKK murder squad along with two other boys. Mississippi Burning is a film about that time.. Nobody even looks at that old brass plaque anymore. How quickly we forget.

  • free? change? try again. no offense, there is no equality in this world. sorry to burst your bubble

  • most come after this man

  • This is a beautiful rendition of a change is gonna come! Thank you!

  • god bless all the humans who suffer under slavery

  • and now we have have lil wain and 50 cent talking for black people

  • but now if ppl can understand no one is free n the world is all a slave plantation n only gettin worse!when u pay ur IRS tax that is ur fee to living on this planet!u hv owners.want to see?watch the vid, story of your enslavement

  • Is there a way to like this video more than twice?

  • Beautiful song, so hopeful. Ironically, it ends with Obama and his 'change'. It's as though everything is OK now as he is in power. Where is the change? Things have arguably got much worse. Sure the elite can no longer openly sell human beings, but the prisons are full of black slaves, gangs of young black men are killing each other and people are born into ghettos with no chance of escape. Everybody is now a slave, owned by bankers. The difference is that most people are not aware of the fact.

  • @marieloud Society is a rig-up!! although I'm ecstatic we can at least say that a Black man held the most "powerful" position on the planet! Even though you know that he doesn't even run his mouth like he wants to!

  • @marieloud You have to understand that being the leader of a whole country as a very stressful job and there are no clear situations to get the country out of its economic situation. Im sure Obama is doing his best but he needs the trust of his country. Also, Obama is just trying to fix the country after George Bush did his number on it...

  • @MrIvanKnight We were all taken in by the greatest psyop of all. We were given the answer to our prayers - a young, handsome, articulate, charming President, who was everything that Bush was not. However, it wasn't real. Watch videos of Obama before and after election. He goes back on everything he promised. There is now more war, more debt, more unemployment....The fact is, he never made any real promises. He was just reading the teleprompter and now he is reading his new script. He's a puppet.

  • @marieloud Sadly for your Fox News "Faux Facts", Unemployment is down. He hasn't done everything he said. He hasn't done everything YOU'VE said, either. And get over the teleprompter thing, ok? It's stupid.

  • @marieloud That's why it's so important for Americans to remember what it really is to be patriotic. To strive for justice and liberty. I don't think its as much an argument of whether or not things are better or worse. As a black person, I personally would not want to go through the violence and racism that my ancestors faced. Today, I can attend college, I can get a job I want and I can follow my dreams, that is change. And yes change doesn't have to end there!

  • @corcovadoquelindo Yes, now everyone has the opportunity to take out a huge loan to go to college and an even bigger one to buy a house. As young people, we immediately become indebted to the banks and we are their slaves until retirement, which is getting later and later....Read the Shock Doctrine to see what is really going on. The IMF is systematically going from country to country, stripping it of its natural resources and benefits and exchanging them for more debt. Debt is our chains today.

  • @marieloud You are so right in what you said. Thanks for saying it as it is. God bless you.

  • This is such a beautiful song. It gives me chills to listen to this. Thank you Sam. Let hope that change is gonna come.

  • This is very well done. I didn't know Sam wrote this too. Just adds to his dynamic. Thank you for doing this work of art and music for historic impact. Well done.

  • @aron2454 I couldnt have said it better!

  • I'm from a republican family & a private education. In Alabama we never educated our slaves because we didn't want them to know the truth. Republicans don't want to pay taxes when they can take money from you & your grandmother & they don't won't spend money to educate your kids. They want you dumb! Unions are for lazy people who don't want to work for us!

  • @MsKecee LOL private education huh? It seems no one has informed you that the southern slave owners were democrats.

  • @InDaStreetsent yeah and the party's were switched back then, Democrats were conservatives and Republicans were the progressives. No one ever told you Abraham Lincoln was a Progressive?

  • @mr96patrick Yes, I know he was a progressive. Well, Theodore Roosevelt (R) was the 1st progressive. Lincoln tried to increase tariffs, he promoted nationalism, and ran on a Free Soil, Free Men platform. But did you know that he also gave the south an ultimatum. If they returned to the union then they would be able to keep their slaves?

  • @mr96patrick I'm not sure what being progressive has to do with an obvious democrat, trolling this page, pretending to be a republican. I hate these Willie Lynch type appeals to our intellect. Don't try to manipulate me, be articulate enough to teach me something without being someone you're not.

  • Seems like someone always takes the place of the persicuted. I'm a God fearing homo and I supose it is my turn to get linched. Perhaps not in the way of you but never the less just as effective.

  • @MultiHustla101 we are still slaves of ignorance, no chains on my feet but im still not free "bob"

  • some1 said obama wasnt much blck becuz he is mixed and ddnt go to africa til he ws 22, well #1 the history of racism ddnt care if u were mixed r who raised u, thy jus say ur dark skin #2 i'm 36 n hve never visitd africa, does tht mean i'm not black?!. and for ppl wondering why tiger is on there, well he ws the 1st blck to win masters, at a club tht flies the rebel flag & used to not allow black members. So i think he deserves a place in black history.

  • Where is Michael Jordan & Michael Jackson....I saw Tiger Woods

  • well it appears that it did change!, now were all free slaves(sarcasm), we are free to pay for our own accommadation, free to pay for our own gas, electric, and fuel. we do get to keep a bit of our money, which we can spend on a nice cotton shirt (irony) or hot dogs or a tin of paint for the hallway or any other whim or personal desire we may choose , oh the life and joys of a free slave

*words that appeared in brackets were just for americans...

  • @Longshotist

tiger broke color barriers in a white dominated sport & ws first black to win masters, MJ did break sme color lines but Jordan while great didn't have to break thru as much of an invisible racial barrier as Tiger

  • @dapog Have you forgotten Arthur Ashe? Black tennis player - white dominated sport

  • This song is now relevant to world populalation. hardship has no colour these days.

  • the picture at 1:21 with thoes soliders the guy with his right hand in his pocket on the top right is my great grandad and he was african american he was of east indian decent he was born in texas and later moved to new york

  • I have seen this countless times and it never fails to move me.

  • aman

  • ppl keep saying we are free but we are not. our bodies but not our minds. the older generations fought for our rights that was denied us but we deny ourselves everytime we dont vote or continue our education. simply voting for someone because they are blk only sinks us lower on the scale of life.we have to do better.we cant become apart of the idealization put upon us. striving for excellence will bring about change starting with ourselves. knowledge is power. motivational knowledge is wisdom.

  • Sam like Martin luther king are iconic not just for black people in america but for underdogs all over the world. Most of us, probably 99% of us all are inspired if they listen to them.

  • religion is anesthesia. Change comes from within

  • Wonderful video and song..

  • Great job telling a piece of history with a beautiful song.

  • awsome video we came along way

  • we came long way, awesome video thunde1road

  • As long as there is a God, we know change gone come. We don't praise men and women: they're only human and frail. But God lives forever. He is the only one who brings true justice in the end. He's done throughout the history of the world. He will keep doing it. He is the only one we should trust for change, good change.

  • im white n this is one of my favourite songs

  • @NE9JFH well done, i'm proud, congratulations

  • For how we've come is how far we have yet to go. In some ways the biggest obstacle to our progress is the naivete of our young people who have failed to learn from whence we came.

  • great great song and a very good video well done please check out my demos on utube as am a singer songwritter glenn stocker

  • the best

  • NOOOO! TODAY WE HAVE NEW RACISM INTERRACIAL GENOCIDE!

  • @blackboysports black men black men

  • Great and interesting slide show!

  • I hate it when they say how far we've came to be, as if our people's history started with slavery.

  • SPECTACULAR!

  • Beautiful and important slide show!

    Thank you thunder1road!

  • this shows just how far America has come

  • So, I'm sort of a white guy... But, as long as I support the Union and Abe Lincoln, it's cool for me to sing along, right?

  • this is an awesome just love it to death

  • over 400 yrs of slavery..and now a black president...it took a long time but the change is here..we no longer have to be afraid of being lyched for trying to vote..you guys just don't know..our ancestors would hv loved the freedom we hv now.,,our generation is truly blessed...sometimes i feel we take it for granted...we still have long ways to go... sadly we "Blacks" are still not treated equally but at least we are free..thank God we are free :)

  • @gogitta25 we aint free. As long as we dont control the economics in our neighborhoods. As long as we have brothers like Oscar Grant gunned down in public unarmed--- and cities aint burnin?nah We got a looong way to go. As long as we persecute homosexuals , for being themselves and living a hard life, We aint free, as long as we keep accepting things just because it has a Black face ie Obama, we will never see change. never

  • @gogitta25 HOW THE HELL DID WOODS GET UP IN HERE ALSO OBAMA IS NOT BLACK MIXED RACE ACTUALLY. IF YOU DID NOT KNOW HE WAS RAISED BY A ALL WHITE FAMILY HE NEVER EVEN SAW AFRICA UNTIL HE WAS 22 HE ALSO DATED WHITE WOMEN SO THERE WAS NOT MUCH BLACKNESS GOING ON WITH HIM MATE!

  • @gogitta25 i love black people so fuck the racists!!

  • @gogitta25 A change? Just 'cause we have Black president now doesn't change anything.

  • @BenjaminKuruga We aren't where we need to be. But thank GOD we are not where we used to be!

  • @southsidesman True,

  • @southsidesman Amen.....

  • reminds me of when i picked cotton

  • Man , this is one of the best clip ever
