if people really look back in to the history of the volkswagen beetle they will see that adolf hitler came up with the idea for these cars and had porchse build them then that there is no such thing as "generation's" to the volkswagen because they never stopped production of the beetle they just quit importing thm into the us from 79 - 94 mexico kepted building the bug . thats what mexico uses as ther taxi's

i like the vw beetle, this one and the classic, i think their nice little cars and i wouldn't mind owning one, its small like i like and it'll get me from a to b, which is good enough for me, doesn't have to be the best car in the world but considering vw was known for hippies driving their vehicles you'd think their cars would be green(hybrids) well, at least some of them anyway

agree with everybody, get the fuck rid of the beetle and bring the scirocco over!!!  that's what the people want! i'd be prepared to spend up to $30k for a base 2.0T scirocco, and if the announcement was made that it would come to these shores, i'd start saving right now!
