Congrats to the Red Wings on winning the Stanley Cup in 2008; best team in hockey this year when it was all said & done. Hats off to the Penguins on a solid playoff run, in the end, the Wings were far more superior but the Pens battled right to the very end.

I've watched hockey since 1991 & IMO this was one of the better Finals for hockey; one of my Top 5 Fav Cup Finals ever. Some very entertaining hockey in this year's Cup Final indeed:-)

or a pulled goalie, even in triple OT they scored on the PP. The refs did all they could to keep Pitt. alive but the Wings were the better

Detroit deserved the Cup. They pretty much dominated all the teams they faced in the playoffs. Osgood was amazing, even though the defense barely let any shots through.

This was amazing. Pens vs. Wings is a Final to remember. The two most deserving teams this year. Though I was cheering for Detroit, I got alot of respect for the Pens and their franchise. Fantastic series ;)

What a great young team Pittsburgh has. They will no doubt win the Stanley Cup the next 2-3 years. Lemieux has put a fantastic team together. First there was Mario, then Jaromir, and now Sidney... and what a great supporting cast!

This series was amazing for not only die-hard NHL fans like myself, but for the general public too. The NHL needed this kind of a final. Hopefully this means that the NHL will get off Versus and back onto ESPN.

Noooooo!!!! I hate ESPN's horrible coverage (Because of time constraints we are now going to the PBA tournament). I cant stand Melrose. Vs had their highest rated season this year because of the NHL. One of the best finals in a long time. the last really good one i remember was probably the New Jersey/Dallas Stars series, maybe the 2002 Hurricanes/Wings one. I look forward to watching these 2 teams play next season. Hopefully they will have some regular season games against each other.
