LOL, We're not Germans, we're Americans as well! But we live in Munich. Trust me, you do NOT want to learn German, it's such a ugly and terrible language. And VERY hard to learn. I was lucky I came over here when I was 9 and I was able to catch it quickly, but my mom lived her for 17 years and she never got it...And there is no "black community" over here. There are the Africans, but everybody keeps to themself.... But thank you for the compliment!

There isn't a Black community in Germany at all? Or did you mean that there isn't one in Munich? Is there any ethnoracial diversity in Germany at all? It's such a shame that there isn't a large presence of black folk.  I'll reconsider learning German now, due to what you just said LOL. I don't want to learn it if it's all that bad. The reason why I wanted to learn German is because it's such a largely distributed language. Thanks for the heads up, though!

I lived in Germany for many years and I believe it depends where you live. where i lived it was very diverse! in germany it seems to depend more on how well u speak german that what u look like...u know if ur fluent or near fluent most are cool with you. if ur not u might not get treated the same. but all in all ppl are open especially to Americans who try to learn German....my experience guys. sue me.

I lived in 3 different parts. medium to large cities and there was a siggnificant number of black people in my neighbprhood but they didnt isolate themselves...they were just one of us. and you will find the same thing in every country you go to where people dont like others for one reason or thhe other. Germany is no different. i had my bad experiences there too dont get me wrong but yeah if I compare it to other countries ive lived in it was pretty decent
