agree that rageh has brought the true effect of the iraqi plight over in a very moving documentary, but in truth these bastards who hack of innocent peoples heads should be fed to the dogs ALIVE.
Rageh is so courageous and I admire his drive to get the story of the people out, and not just go with the western media status quo. May God always watch over you Rageh.
The truth of Christianity is really hope, even in the darkest circumstances.
This section reminds me of the movie "The Mission." On one hand, the human/government solution, which is war which results in ignored suffering for many who do not have political power.
The other is to plant peace and hope and to serve the name of our Lord which is higher than any name.
George Bush may has well have pulled the trigger to the heads of Iraqis and especially Iraqi christians who suffer the hardest of hardest.
That's the thing with representative goverment, They call the shots once their in office and their nothing you can do about it except picket and protest, Nobody ever held a referendum on wither to invade iraq in any of the countries that partaken in it.
No, that's whats wrong with ignoring the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Do you really think George was the mastermind, or merely a puppet playing his part. In either case the man deserves his day in court to answer for the resulting damage from his actions and orders, only fair thing to do.
Thank you u are the only one who paid attention to raggeh"s job ,, the guy is the best ,,, go go rageh ,, We are proud of not just somalia but entire Africa
what a piece of Journalism! I come to like this Journalist the way he does his work! Western Journalists must learn a lot from this man. His deep emotions and love for the common people of Iraq is extraordinary. Love for a fellow man should come in the first place, THIS IS THE BEST JOURNALIST AFRICA CAN OFFER!
...As a Canadian, I wish to disagree in the highest regard...There is a lot of opposition to the development of the Alberta Tar sands...Stolen land from the First Nations Peoples...Title land and so on...How long do you believe the oil will last?...
...Did you ever consider there are other countries that need oil as well...The world is not US...There is 4 other rising superpowers...India, China, Brazil and Russia...Well, RIP grandma, you would be considered a traitor in my eyes and most peoples eyes...What American sexed up data are you getting this from?...
As I said, I'm a political neutral. I'm not for the U.S., or against it. That's neutrality.
See, this is the problem with your broken political world setup. This entire system is broke, and doesn't work. Everyone has needs for economic commodities, and fight one another over them.
Do you think the U.S. cares about other peoples needs for Oil? Heck, there are complete economic outlooks and schools of thought in ALL countries that state that each country SHOULDNT care about the others needs, and see to their own needs first.
The U.S. doesn't care about others needs, unless they are allies, and are working against those that they see as opponents (Iran, etc), and others don't care about the U.S. That's the world political system. Which is completely screwed up.
Just because Canada apparently "has more oil, and provides the U.S. with more oil, than all of the Middle East put together", it doesn't mean the Americans are not in Iraq for oil.
Following that logic, that would mean that the U.S. is going to invade Canada for the Oil. Which is just silly. It would mean that the U.S. is going to invade Saudi Arabia, for their Oil. It's going to invade Russia, for their Oil.
Because invading Iraq, is much different from invading Canada, the USA has not invaded Canada. If the case for going to war with Iraq could be made equally as well as a case for going to war with Canada, THEN the USA would invade Canada.
It's like saying, John and Bob have gold. I can take Bob's gold cuz he is not a threat to me. However, John would hurt me if i tried to take his gold, therefore i wont try to take John's gold.
See this is where you are mistaken, just beacuse the USA invades Iraq for oil, doesn't mean they will invade another country for their oil. Suppose another country, country XYZ, has the most oil in the world. The USA might be tempted to invade this country XYZ, but if XYZ has a much more powerful military than the USA, the USA will not invade XYZ. You are making an error in your logic. Only if Canada had the exact same properties of Iraq, would the USA invade Canada like they have invaded Iraq.
You think that the USA has the potential to just invade whatever fucking country they want for oil, try again buddy, lets see how the USA pays for another 6 wars. The Americans cannot even succeed in Iraq, and now your suggesting that "There are 6 other countries that the U.S. has a problem with, that they get more oil from than Iraq, and they haven't invaded those countries." WOW - real fucking smart, maybe if the USA wasnt already fucked up from IRAQ they could invade those 6 other countries!!
...Don't forget, we own the American water supply too...Canada is not a warmonger...we don't need to spend trillions on making buffons out of ourselves...Bush I could not complete the job in Iraq, so Junior had to do the bidding for daddy...Its logic like your that leads to stereotype of American as dumb...You know there are millions of Americans who can't pay their mortgages or be helped when disasters strike, especially if they are black, or pay for healthcare...Military might no help...
Regardless - I don't care one way or another - I'm a political neutral. As such, it's very interesting to watch. I'm not for, or against the United States. As a neutral, I'm saying it's silly to say that the United States is there for Oil.
The U.S. is getting jack-squat from Iraq as far as Oil. There are 6 other countries that the U.S. has a problem with, that they get more oil from than Iraq, and they haven't invaded those countries. Its not why they're there. Its very simple to research this.
Okay buddy, I wasnt "SERIOUSLY" suggesting the US is afraid of the Canadian military you twat. The REASON the USA is getting jack-squat from Iraq is because of the insurgency. The oil was supposed to pay for the war. The USA is hurting because of the insurgency and now has to finance the war itself.
ALSO if you didn't have your head up your ass, then you would know that Alan Greenspan said himself that the reason the USA is in Iraq is largely for oil.

Next time you want to make some profound logical inference think it through first and save yourself some embarrassment.

And I'm curious why you're politically neutral. I find that morally and intellectually appalling especially because (I think) you are living in the USA.
Also, you're point was this: "That doesn't make any sense. Canada has more oil, and provides the U.S. with more oil, than all of the Middle East put together. " I am saying alex26london makes perfect sense because Canada does NOT equal Iraq and just because the USA invades Iraq for oil, it doesnt mean that the USA is going to invade Canada for oil. You're a real idiot, congratulations.
...Neutrality or not...make no difference...Gee there are millions of people being killed in Darfur...why doesnt the US go and "help" them...I hope you like paying taxes, you will be on the hook for a long time for Bush I and II mistakes...So everytime the US has a problem with someone, there is one option huh?...A country that had so much support worldwide after 9/11 is able to squander it so quickly is beyond believable...Research what, facts can't be proven wrong, neither can history be...

How long? The Geologists have confirmed 1,700 Billion Barrels. That's more than Saudi Arabia EVER Had. That'd last for more than a century.
As to Native Americans? I'm Ahniyvwiya. Here's a little lesson my great grandmother knew very well.
