In Victoria BC, the parliament house's accents are all copper. When they built it, they knew it would go patchy with age. So they sped up the process, by painting all the copper with horse urine. It gave it all an even green color.

I love David's work. I only saw him on TV. He is a true master. Too bad he doesn't want to do the TV show anymore. Really miss him.

I had the pleasure of meeting David and sitting in on a couple of his patena classes at a woodworking show in Des Moines Iowa. What an extremely genuine individual! He has no pretense and is a very knowledgable teacher. It was a very big pleasure to meet him and learn from him. Between the classes and watching every episode of woodworks, I believe that he has had a very big impact on my wood working. Thanks David and thanks Marc for the video!
