Whilst I agree that a lot of new hip-hop is shit and that Southern hip-hop is especially.

And that Gangstarr are awesome. They're arrogant and so are all old hip-hop heads to be saying what they're saying.

Just because it's different to what they pioneered doesn't mean it's 'wrong'. It's art so people can chose to do it however they want and create new sub-genres. You can't just say "oh that way is wrong, my way is the best, shame on you for not doing it my way".
