  • I frigging love puma or cougar or mountain lion

  • Nice song Cypress!

  • That brown bear just didn't want to fight, it wasn't worth it to him. In a fight to the death the death the cougar wouldn't stand a chance. Now the wolf... I don't know what he was thinking... brave, but dumb.

  • @gullenator1 agree^

  • Cats are the best animals. Graceful, beautiful and deadly.

  • no cat will ever disturb anybody or anything if not prey when needed and self defense, if gentle invited and not pestered they come to be petted, most polite, beautiful and elegant living beings, don't disturb them! don't be goofy! they fear nothing, hate vulgarity and nothing same size can match power and speed.

  • The bear was curious, and even when the cougar was on top of him, he shook her off like a rag doll.

  • that was awsome.....no fear

  • not shocked by how agressive, the cat has no fear and will lash out at anything to protect its young! even a domesticated cat will lash out at animals alot bigger! bears are dangerous to us as humans because of their big stong build but their pain threshold doesn't seem to live up to it, u see them back down from big cats, wolves, wolverines, it doesn't say much for them to be honest!!

  • @kellybarry1982 and then you can suk my lollipop

  • All animals use common sense when fighting, they don't seek out potentially damaging confrontations for little benefit. I'm capable of killing a raccoon with my bare hands but if I saw one in the wild looking to fight me I'd run away.

  • Cougars are not as big and bad as the video with the mother vs bear makes them out to be. They are actually pretty small, and plenty have been killed on record by domesticated horses kicking them to death. A grizzly could easily take out a cougar if it wanted to, case closed.

  • bear vs a fuckin hippo no there is a good fight

  • @6skate9

I think the hippo has a lot of size on the bear, not a great matchup. Also, they wouldn't have a neutral terrain, since bears would want to fight standing up on land while hippos would wanna fight in shallow water.

  • sweet song choice

  • Wack shit

  • lets reverse that situation with the cougar and bear. the bear would maul the cougar. i mean the cougar gave the bear a good attack and it seemed like the bear shook it off and decided the cougar wasn't worth it's time. the bears claw alone is about as big and the cougars head. i think one good swipe and the cougar is out.

  • @Jimihendrix6699 yea maybe the bear thought it wasnt worth it. but i personally believe that the bear was actually shocked by how aggresive the cougar was being. the bear probably thought the cougar would just back down. but the cougar put it in a headlock and bit the bears head the bear was surprised.

  • @ripstickcamp well the cougar was hissing like a motherfucker so i think the bear probably knew what the cougar was going to do. i really just think the bear didn't think it was worth it's time.

  • gay

  • Nonpeon's point is correct. pitting a tiger against a bear is even worse.

  • it all comes down to the situation. and man i laugh hard at Ammo260's comment. a dog vs. a cougar.. yeah get lost man your an idiot. Cougars have been known to kill grown bears. they use to trap a grown cougar and a grown bear and stage a fight. records have it cougars can easily gouge a bears eyes out. and god forbid a cougar gets a bears throat. and comparing a cougar and bear to a 10 year old and a lineman made me laugh!

  • plz a cougar cant even take on a rott willer guarding its home. the cougar would just run away

  • is that bear a fucking faggot or what, i know a brown bear can kill a cougar, but this bear didnt shit only getting his ass kick

  • Brown beras (particualrly Grizzlies) have alot of muscle concentration in the shoulders which gives them tremendous upper body strength and the way they use their front limbs make a paw swipe much more effective than a tigers. Brown bears have longer claws than a tiger, much more endurance, a thicker hide, and can fight standing up. I read about a brown bear that killed an adult male siberian tiger on two occuassions. Tigers are better hunters, but brown bears are better fighters.

  • Bears are better fighters vs big cats if there's a size differential. Imagine a 1-ton grizzly vs a 1-ton big cat. The grizzly would get ripped to shreds. And citing an occurrence where a brown bear (much larger) killed 2 siberian tigers doesn't translate into the bears being better fighters. They're just bigger. Nuff said.

  • @Nonpeon K? so, you vs. Broc lesnar? He wins just because he's bigger and the FACT that he's a better fighter has nothing to do with him licking the shit out of you? Or, I've seen plenty of fights where smaller animals or people come out on top because they're better fighters? Simply put, the grizzly is a much better fighter. nuf said.

  • @Gazelle53 Not to mention, a single blow from and adult grizzly can kill a grown man, deer, wolf, coyote, cougar. if it's a headshot.

  • Brown Bear>Cougar=Black Bear>Wolf

    FACT.

I haven't seen any reliable account to suggest Cougars prey on Brown Bears, basing on statistics, a Brownie would rip a Cougar in half, but i'm sure Cougars attacked Black Bears i've even got a pic of one attacking a Blackie.

  • Heat...A cougar compares with a brown bear as a 10 year old boy compares with an NFL lineman. It would be a ridiculaous mismatch. Cougars never attack adult grizzlies because it would be the last thig they do. Some black bears can be timid but some are not afraid of cougars. They have been known to share a kill. Cougars act and sound very fierce but their bark is bigger than their bite.

  • @Gazelle53 hahaha there bark is bigger than there bite are you insane fight with a cougar then you'll look like shredded news paper when its done with you man you need to do more research

  • @supremejoey24 What I meant is that cougars sound and act more ferocious than perhaps every other animal. They will often growl and snarl at other animals even if they are larger and more powerful...but...they will not actually fight a full grown brown bear because they will lose every time. I am quite sane and do not need to do any research. Perhaps I should have explained what I meant better earlier.

  • liked the clip of the mother defending her cub from the bear: She is all like: Piss off! How dare you come near my little one, now you shall feel my RAGE... yes run, run away you silly bear, Ha! I maul you on your fat arse :)

    I like bears too though.

  • That was a staged video with trained animals shot for the "Wild America" film series by Marty Stouffer. He has been critisized for having staged animal scenes and making people believe they are real encounters.

  • interesting

  • Pumas cant kill adult bear or young ones, only cubs. but They can ofc scare of grizzley as they have done alot of times, And yes Cougar is stronger than wolfs and big rival to them. Felines are the strongest predator of all pound by pound.

  • Cougar is b y far to big a threat for a wolf. as far as grizzly. cougars are known to kill grizzlys. its all timing and enviroment. but 6/10 times cougar. at HEATofEAST92 yes bears are redicilously powerful. but dont even think about pitting off a bear against a tiger. a tiger is far to deadly to a bear to take on. USUALLY how it goes up north, cougar > bear > wolf (wolf in numbers makes them a force)

  • The only thing you got right is that a cougar is mightier than a wolf. A male grizzly is at least 5 times as large as a cougar and is stronger pound per pound and has much larger claws, a thicker hide and greater reach. A cougar has ZERO CHANCE against an adult grizzly. A tiger can kill an adult brown bear by a sneak attack, but face to face it would lose. By the way, the largest brown bear ever recorded was 2500 lbs. Brown Bear>Tiger>Cougar>Wolf.

  • Nope, and bear is NOT, i repeat, NOT stronger pound for pound than a Cougar or Tiger, etc... In fact, Tigers compete with Bears in Russia (natural competitors), and when Tigers are close in size, they kill and eat the Bears. Heck (FYI), a gorilla is stronger (pound for pound) than a bear also, and Tigers are stronger than they are pound for pound. Now a big cat usually won't win because of the bear's massive size difference.

  • cougars can kill any single wolf... but wolfs usually go in many numbers... it called wolfpack

  • Please see the video "Bear Cub vs Cougar." A bear cub smaller than the cougar fights the cougar and the cougar runs off. This bear cub could be several times larger when it reaches maturity. Imagine what it would do to the cougar then. It is posted by elephantidis.

  • That bear cub got the shit slapped out of him....it wasn't even a real fight, the cougar was tormenting the bear.

  • Not on the video I saw. The little bear cub was not getting beat at all. The cougar was the one that quit and ran off. Anyway, my point was not that the little cub was able to beat a full grown cougar. My point was the it was not afriad of it. When this cub becomes ful grown, maybe 600lbs, maybe alot more, do you think a cougar would want to mess with it? Only if it is suicidal.

  • cougar face at 0:04 is just beautiful.

  • Bears rule.

  • Only because of the size difference. If Big cats were the same massive size (like I'd imagine ancient sabor tooths - maybe larger) then the bears wouldn't stand a chance bub.

  • Can you give me any reason??

Big Cats are more agile but Bears are more strongly built, strength is more important than agility in a fight, most Cats have stronger jaws and more useful claws, but Bears have far better protection and better stamina, i think it depends on the species, a Tiger would beat a Brown Bear at same size, but saying the Bear wouldn't stand a chance is an huge exaggeration.

Also, Tigers kill Bears often due to ambush, p4p strength isn't involved.

  • Tigers regularly kill bears the same size because they not only are more agile, but also stronger. Unfortunately there isn't much on Youtube to help with my point, but there's a lot of writing about it. Look it up on Google. Even bears slightly larger would have problems. One or the other normally backs down, however, unless they are starving. Again, a Tiger is stronger when they are they around the same size. By that, I meant the bear (whom is slower) wouldn't stand a chance.

  • Norpeon...I don't know where you get some of your information, but is is ridiculous. Tigers kill bears the same size all the time? Tigers are stronger than brown bears pound per pound? I am sure neither is true. On the website "Interspecies Conflict" one of the experts said that a siberian tiger can kill any bear by a sneak attack from the rear but a frontal attack would be suicide for the tiger. I will explain on the next post which should be listed before this one.

  • Mister Gazelle, there's one fatal flaw with your quoting the expert, you forgot (or he did) whether there was a size differential between the hypothetical Tiger and Bear. That's my point, and you're bringing this up without addressing the issue is illogical. Secondly, quoting ONE expert is disingenuous. There's many who claim the opposite. Sorry, but you should do more research. Thanks anyway....

  • Nonpeon...Of course the largest brown bears are significantly larger than the largest tigers and that makes a difference. Of course you should not learn about animals from one source, but I only had room for one in this format. I believe that a 600 lb brown bear would be more than a match for a 600 lb. tiger in a face to face fight. This kind of confrontation should be rare and only would happen when the bear wants to steal food from a tiger.

  • wolf is more powerful than puma as wolf ves have sharper canine and muscular body than cougar. so if a wolf and cougar come face to face wolf will win as it is powerful and aggressive.

in case of bear cougar can win as bear is a coward animal.

  • a puma would pwn a wolf, cougar has bigga canines sharper claws, more powerful limbs, could take much bigga prey, u nigga dunno shit about these animalz a puma would fuk a wolf and u have to accept this and a grizzly would fuk both bears are sooo powerful, stronger than wolves, than cougars, than lions, than tigers, than 'rillas ect.

  • a lone wolf would lose to both but thats why wolves travel in packs

  • beautiful cat 5/5
