awesome vid . just got mine today one thing i really dislike is that clear orange tabb on the right shoulder. it blocks the shoulder from being flush to the side. also I hope you've seen the Takara release of this guy So much better with the paint apps he looks far more unified

i bought this dude today... painted all his grey parts and the grill chrome silver...painted the grey parts of the sword grey too...and OMG...My Optimus Prime looks so freaking AWESOME!

or if you guys are lazy to do your own repaints (and willing to spend a bit more $), simply wait for the TAKARA's Transformers UNITED series ...it will make Reveal the Shield series look like KO toys..coz the chrome n gloss repaints on the TAKARA series are awesome!!

Sorry, meant to add that that's why they called the G2 one "Laser" Prime. There were 4 cars (Laser-Rods) and 2 bikes (Laser-Cycles) that had the light-up feature too.

The original was in G2 and had a light up feature in the hand, and a huge clear plastic sword that lit up when the hand-feature is used. This is like a pale imitation of that figure. The G2 one was huge and amazing.

I removed my last two comments because I was in a hurry and goofed the spelling of a few words........Anyways The paint job doesn't bug too much and this new figure will look good next to my Armada supercon(deluxe) and my Generations Voyager G1 optimus prime.

I also have to mention the transformation of this new figure looks worlds better than morbidly complex ROTF leader(the battle blades is just a hair easier than the leader)class prime.

The color scheme is just as horrible as the original which was a let down back then because the figure itself was obviously sculpted to look more like the cartoon but the black lower legs and gray on the torso (especially with those stupid stickers in place of where obviously windows were meant to be) it just looked bad. It would have easily been better if they had painted the figure to resemble the color scheme of the first Prime. Ditto here although the colors look better in robot mode.

I really like this mold, but the colors seem terrible, looking at a picture of the original, I see some red in front, and black for the rest, baring the clear windows, here, the cabin section is blue, and barely shows in robot mode, I have to ask then, what's the point?
