what could you tell me about this breed as an owner? i have studied up on them as a potential owner im very interested in this breed for after college and wanted the oppinion of someone that owned this breed
@CursedK9 My Leonberger is 8 years old, they're one of the most comfortable breeds to own. They're both energetic and calm. You could easy bring your Leonberger to your work lying under your desk, and love it! They're well known for loving kids. Easy to handle. Loves to swim, especially holding on to a rope and drag you in a smaller boat, they sure love to work in the water! There's so much love you get from this breed and there hasn't been a single day for me regretting buying one of these.
hey great video :) tho i got a questsion or 2 if you dont mind as i took a test to see what dogs fit's me and my persona one of the dog races there came up was this now i am wondering do the dog proctect there owners or do they just bark and hope to scare away what ever is thretning the owner (see 2nd video in the list) do thise dogs have a load of enegy or are they more relaxed? and finnaly with the coat the have do they have do i have to do a daily brushing? thanks :)
@Vakrian i bet you know allready but this dog was breeded to look like a lion not anything else but they have been used by the police in germany. they are not agressive, would compare it with a teddy bear. You could train it to be really friendly against thieves and then don't let them out of the house. they do got alot of energy :P my dog likes to "run away" and hide and then he "ambushes" me by running as close to my legs as possible :3 (not aggressive or anything just playfull)
