This was the time that the superstars could be as nasty and as raunchy as they wanted to be. Now it's all watered down, rated PG-13 for the kids. "SUCKS"!

You make some good points but the INVASION storyline isn't that bad the way people put it. And plus the rock came back anyway. And the second half of 2002 wasn't better than the second half of 2001 because in the second half of 2002 they changed the name to the WWE and they got that ugly stage setup. Also they had that draft.

The Rock is done with wrestling. He gets paid 5 million or more a film, and doesn't have to take a bump, or travel year round. Oh and he didn't get fired, and he knew when his contract was up. He saw a new opprotunity and went for it and has been successful. If other wrestlers were as good as him, they would do it too. But they aren't.
The Rock is not coming back to WWE. Of cause he loved to wrestle, but there is one thing he loved much more than that, acting in front of 50.000 people. I remember when he hurt his back during our championship playoffs...he was inn traction for over a week. I go to a place called Mick's Barber Shop to get my haircut every 2 weeks and the Rock's dad-Rocky Johnson is usually there to get his haircut when I go...but I have not seen him in a while.

The Rock is done with wrestling. He gets paid 5 million or more a film, and doesn't have to take a bump, or travel year round. And frankly, his movies, even if alot of them are for kids, make a lot of money. He may guest host Raw, but that's the most you will ever get out of him. Oh and he didn't get fired, and he knew when his contract was up. He saw a new opprotunity and went for it and has been successful. If other wrestlers were as good as him, they would do it too. But they aren't.

The Rock is not coming back to WWE. Of cause he loved to wrestle, but there is one thing he loved much more than that, acting in front of 50.000 people. If he really returns, it's never gonna be the same. I don't need to see him busting his ass in the ring. But I would love to see and hear him talking trash :)

Vince didn't fire The Rock. His contract expired in 2004 and no one told him. One can only assume that's why he refused to sign back to WWE.

this is a great collection of clips, 2002 wouldve been better for the rock in wrestling if he wasnt involved with movies. Yeah he'l prob do the special guest thing, but that will more than likely be his last involvement with wrestling, would take sumthin special to get the great one back in the ring again

I think from 2000-2001 was the rocks best year in his career though, he won 3 wwe titles in a span of just that 1 year and he beat great rivals and had some of the most legendary feuds to do it....
