I never really find myself stressed, obviously there is always stress put on someone when there is a task to be delt with, but I take the approach of being indiffrent to any result so I hardly concern myself with extreme worry or anger.. whatever others seem to deal with.
I think my tolerance of stress is lower than average. My heart rate and blood pressure has always bordered on high. Going into high stress situations (even if most people think it's fun) makes me way over stressed. I got rid of my TV because I can't stand commercials or most TV programing. I've paid off all my debts and I'm a year away from mortgage payoff because being in debt freaks me out. All I want is a quiet home where no one will give me any BS. I don't even enjoy dating or relationships.
2. I'm a heavy diesel truck and engine mechanic and I really enjoy the work but a few years back I had a high stress job. There were times after work when I seriously considered curling up into a fetal position on my bathroom floor in the dark. Generally that would happen when the stress from work followed me home. I ended up changing jobs to get away from the stress. These days I'm pretty happy but my life is far from normal. Most people think I have an empty life but this is all I can tolerate
@vention4wh try taking some high quality whey powder, like maximuscle. I doesnt matter what brand as long as the whey is low heat processed. Don't buy any that include soya. Avoid soy period. Trust me it really helps.
It's stressful to realize this guy is obviously on a personal crusade against Corporate America - which is perfectly okay but when stress is prevalent in just about every common day business sector he should say so
stress is part of life as a consumer, in corporate society. There are other models of society, where people did not have stress on the levels we have today.
Just saying, we have stress as a result of pursuing fulfillment through consumption and competition of resources that cannot be guaranteed.

"Most people think I have an empty life but this is all I can tolerate"
You aren't on your own - the roles we are mostly 'forced' to assume work against our nature.
Oh for the idle life.
The structure of the modern world is hardly ideal.
