As annoying as the guy/girl dashing is, he/she proves that they needed to add PP to dashing and such or it will be as easy as he/she made it look. He/she did their job by exposing this.

This games seems to be a sweet mix of PSU and PSO1,2,3BB. More so PSO. I like that. I want to get used to the idea of change because if it were the same game it'd be pointless. I hope SEGA gets it right, because I absolutely hated PSU.

I hope they can captivate that same feeling of a red box drop. I had red box syndrome BAD. The depth in the weapons in PSO was amazing. I still don't have all of them.

You guys are saying this looks good? Hearing about PSO2 then seeing this just makes me not care anymore, take off the rose tinted glasses and maybe you'll realize that this is most likely going to be another grindfest with no real point to leveling.

@Max1130 It's an arcade style hack n' slash RPG...how exactly do you not make it grindy? Show me one that isn't. Ghost X, Dungeon Fighter Online, Dynasty Warriors Online. They're all the exact same kind of deal. Hell, most RPGs in general are grindy...Even ones like Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2, which is instanced and renowned for its in depth story and ever changing world. And what exactly is the 'point' of leveling in ANY RPG? PvP at best lol...sounds like you just hate RPGs bro.

I played the first games beta while it was still closed with a bunch of game devs and shit. Then I played it while the people who pre-ordered it played it. Then I played like 2 expansions as WELL as GW2.

If you really wanna brag and talk shit, we can definitely go there. But I suggest you pick a different game lol.

@SiaGrath I can sit here and lie on youtube also but it doesn't change the fact that there isn't a grind to guild wars you can reach level 20 extremely easily then after that it's all end game content if not just getting your skills. PSO was just leveling for the sake of leveling there was no real reason behind it. So unless they implement some kind of end game content or at least something besides leveling in the same areas it's not going to be entertaining.

You have to grind to get gear..and you have to grind a lot for boss instance drops and your party members will often get them. You also have to grind for crafting materials and leveling your profession. Jesus Christ dude how long did you play it? 5 minutes?

Pretty amazing that so many people have played such a simple basic game for almost 15 years now, don't you think? Go to the pso wiki and browse through the index. You're a moron if you can't find depth in there. Look, you obviously just play through PvE and then throw games back on the shelf when you're done. And that's fine! @Max1130 Please be reminded that this is an ALPHA test. It means it will most likely change a LOT before its' eventual release in 2012. So just sit tight and wait for later tests to give your final opinion on the game.

best memories coming back of me gaming back in PSOv1 on dreamcast ....

psov2 was good, episode 1 and 2 were good for gamecube...

BUT .. if this game is anything like phantasy start universe no thanks ... phantasy star series back on master system and genesis are still my most fondly remembered jRPGs.

I wonder how far sega will go to screw this up ... NA and europe support for PSO/PSU is horrible.

I'm very skeptical about SEGA doing anything right anymore. Sad, but true.
