Machines are great for fast, preliminary counts, but they MUST be verified by hand count. THis would give the news media their preliminary news info, and also prove the machine was not hacked. The best of both worlds. People, paper, not cards, not machines, need to be the final and official value.

i heard it will cost like 65,000 to even get them to recount. the sad part is, the diebold systems the only way you can check for fraud is checking the source code, or using the paper reciepts to back the numbers. other then that you wouldnt see it comming, and if nothing is done right away im afraid even witha recount it still could be frauded.
