This game is amazing! When I first got it on my PS2, I fell in love with it! The gameplay and everything! Those saying this is weird compared to RF:G, I'm still puzzled why Volition changed the POV.

I loved this addicting game, and I hope sometime in the future they make a sequel to this, OTHER than RF2. Something that shows Parker before he turned into "Old Coot" in RF:G

nothing compares to the original Red Faction. This game utilized the Geo-Mod tech. to the best of its ability (I remember in multiplayer rocketlaunching holes all the way through the map) and the story was perfect. It was the first game I bought for my PS2, and boy was I far from disappointed.

I played RF2, and it sucked in comparison to one. The first one was so ground-breaking for console FPS's.

Please make a FPS Red Faction that returns to the greatness of the original!!!

The Red Faction series uses the Geo-Mod Engine & Battlefield: Bad Company uses the frostbite engine.

Not many games I know of, lets you blow up your enviroment.

Omg, this is THE best game I have ever played!!! Its the only game where you can destroy the enviroment other than Gears of War 2. You can blow up a whole building with nothing but a Fusion Rocket Launcher. This deserves a 2 thumbs up 5/5 The second one wasnt as good as this. I havent played Guerilla yet but im getting it
