William Reese is my uncle by marriage, Fran is my mother's sister. Everett that he mentions is my uncle. I was only 16 in 1971 and didn't even know that he went through this. I wasn't as close to him as I would have liked. After my uncle drowned in the river accident my mother passed away in 1972 which would have also put extra strain on Aunt Fran's family with his him going to painting full time. I will truly miss him and wish I had followed his career more closely. I just found out today
This week 06/08/10, we lost a giant mentor of art in the NW that left behind a giant torch of light to see the world by, William F. Reese. Our condolences go to his wife Fran and beautiful family.
This is something that needs to be seen by everyone who has ever hesitated about doing something they wanted to do out of fear of failure. Life is sometimes surprisingly shorter than you think. Spend it wisely but not timidly.
