It's funny how most of the comments seem to be about the voice-over guy instead of the episode. :) This was a great episode btw. Q was a great character. Even his appearances on DS9 and Voyager were great.

@Vorteks667 The announcer is Ernie Anderson. Widely regarding as one of the greatest voice over talents ever. He is right up there with Don LaFontaine and Hank Simms. For years, he was the voice of the ABC-TV network.

@Vorteks667 It sounds like the word STAR has to leap over a fence before the rest of the title can be announced. It's like the word ENTERPRISE gets snagged on a sticking-out nail and has to be unhooked before the announcer can get on with his job. And just what does he do to the word NOW?

Ah, you mean Nagilum, right? The blue one? The episode's Where Silence Has Lease, I think. It'd have to be Q, considering that he can manipulate space-time over what appears to be a much wider plane than Nagilum seemed to be able to.

Sometimes yeah, but I loved it in TNG how you could tell they eventually became "friends" so to speak. At different points in the whole show it was nice to see them actually get on with eachother, if only for a moment. But otherwise I think youre right, he simply drove Picard round the bend. Much to the amusement of pretty much everyone, myself included, Im sure. :D
