Gakupo is just AWESOME, but I don't get it why he is not popular. Gakupo has songs that make you swoon and songs that rock you over. He is just like Gackt-sama.

I have a dream that Gackt should one day cosplay as Gakupo and sing some of Gakupo's hit songs, like this one. I read from a site that Gackt did hear one of Gakupo's songs (Episode.0) and has decided to record an album singing that song and even this song too.

Don't hate on the Vocaloids! They are meant to sound robotic and synthetic, because their voices are computerized. They are not real, but base off of real people. They may or may not have much emotion in them, but that can probably change due to voice inflections. Kamui-San is an amazing Vocaloid, as well as Megurine Luka, Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Len & Rin, Shion Kaito, Megumi, ad Sakine Meiko. Even fanmade ones like Kasane Teto are good too. Just because it's synthetic it doesn't automatically mean it sucks. Some Vocaloid songs are heaps nice, but this just sounds too synthetic, and generally I expect more from a song if it's considered "eargasm" and all that stuff.

It took me a long, long time to like Luka. I'm still warming up to Gakupo, but honestly I don't think I'll ever like Megpoid.

But the reason it seems Luka, Gakupo and Gumi are so out standish is because they don't seem to be apart of the 'voca-family' consisting of Meiko, Kaito, Len, Rin, and Miku. At least to me, that is ^^;

That's true. But Luka has a lot of popularity, she has many songs in the WVR [it's a lot considering that almost all the songs are Miku's songs].

I've seen a lot on fanarts where only Crypton vocaloids are drawn. I think Gakupo and Gumi are the most excluded vocaloids.

However, there's a difference between fanart fandom and the Vocaloid songs... if you look at the fanarts, Meiko and Kaito are almost always drawn. But they NEVER appear in the WVR. I don't understand people =/

Well, there are more girls than boys of vocaloid. Also, Gakupo has a voice sounding more human than robotic. And people would like to make use of the robotic. And vocaloid has a lot of cute peppy song, and a lot of horror song. Both are genres were people want to use girl voices for the high pitched of it.

Also, a lot vocafans hate gakupo. They also hate Gumi. That is because they are not considered as real vocaloids by the fans. I. a vocafan too, found this retarded. What makes you a voc then?

What makes a vocaloid:

1. You have to pay for it.

2. A voice sampling that is compatible with Crypton's Vocaloid interface.

3. It needs to be officially recognized by the Vocaloid countdown on NND.

That's why the UTAUs aren't recognized, because it uses Garage Band rips for free, anyone can create. Originally the quality of Gackpoid was the same as UTAUs, and it took a while before they found good settings for him. Macne Nana was ditched because she was ripped to UTAU.

HUH?! Luka was more accepted than Rin when she first came out! Broke the debut record on the Vocaloid Countdown. Luka is CV03, made by Crypton.

Gackpoid was SSM Internet, an offshoot of Yamaha, and even though Crypton is also, they are in a bit of competition with each other. Purists like only CVs and refuse to use others, a shame because they make great duets.

Gumi is much more widely accepted than Gackpo, mainly because they improved the system, so she sounds even more natural.

If you've noticed, ever since Gumi was released, Gackpo has been getting a lot more attention as well, because Gumi was such a huge success. Gackpo was basically the odd man out until now. I can't wait to see how this one does in the countdown this week. We've never had a consistent Gackpo in the countdown ever. Miku's got 4 different spots. Rin's got Meltdown. Luka's got JBF and Double Lariat. Gumi and Gackpo have yet to make a spot for themselves.

By "more accepted" I mean Luka broke Rin's debut record by about 10,000 points on the Vocaloid charts. I'm not sure what you mean by "not accepting her as real". Gumi and Gackpo have a lot of songs, yes, but none that have stuck on the countdown for more than a few weeks. Meltdown, Double Lariat, and Miku Miku ni Shite Ageru have been in the top 30 since they debuted and almost never have dropped off. I hope that Paranoid Doll will be Gackpo's sticker, since it's so awesome.

Also, hating her fans is a pretty poor reason to refuse to acknowledge that something is good - I'd say if you dislike her voice, fair enough, but disliking her because of the fandom is a little silly XD
