  • SWEET<3<3

  • Where do you get the doll parts (heads, bodies, eyes) and supplies (airbrusher, sealer, paints etc.)? I think it would be fun to try but I don't know what to get. And how expensive is it to buy the supplies?

  • If you're good at doing faceups... you must be good at doing makeup. Makeup tutorial please? c:

  • For adding more fleshy colors, what would you do for odd skin colored resin like red and grey? l:

  • Your faceups are amazing!

  • Just a question (for farther down the road as I don't own a doll yet), but how much do you charge for a commission? Is it a set price, or does it range depending on sculpt/what the client wants/other things? Thanks!!

  • @misstitanic015 You can find the basic price list on my website. It will depend on the doll size and type of faceup :)

  • Its so cute!!! can you please show the hair!! :)

  • Do you wait for the acrylic paints to dry before you seal?

  • Would makeup brushes work instead of paint brushes?

  • This is so inspiring. I'd love to learn this art someday... Maybe once I can actually afford dolls it would be nice to try. (:

  • thant's just amazing !! :D

  • GOD BLESS YOU,your an amazing artist/worker.

    Inspirational,do you take commission?

  • 2 questions

Why don't you film putting the eyes in?I have always wondered how you do it :)

Another is,do you only do touch-ups or do create the whole doll?

  • What a cutie! I can't wait to see you do a male bjd some time.

  • Is this how doll's heads are made?

  • @stellaqun1 Not these types of dolls. This is a resin ball-jointed doll (BJD) head and for the most part they're very customizable. This video by Andreja is only to show how the blank face for this particular BJD is commissioned to be painted (can be changed as and when the owner pleases), not how the dolls in general are made.

  • it looks so fun :)

  • Woah what did you do to the mouth at around 5:40?

  • how do you put the eyes in? :<

  • I love your videos! Your work is so beautiful! And I think the music you chose works very well- especially with the butterflies in the beginning!

  • I really enjoy watching these videos. You're really talented. When I get my BJD I will definitely want you to commission my dolls. <3

  • these are amazing! i never knew how much work went into these dolls, but wow! * v * beautiful!!

  • I really love watching these videos!

  • awesome

  • What is the white pencil used for?

  • aww I wanted to see how you put the actual eyes in :(

  • @pickledshoe there are many videos that show how to place doll eyes in the head :O

  • Did you take classes to do this? Like collage? or just a few classes or just learnd. Im interested in doing this ;:)

  • @MTrencher4life I had a friend who used to casually paint faceups and she told me what materials she used, all the rest was learned with experience and research.

  • never mind, you definitely addressed that directly after I had written it down. xD

  • Do you trim the eyelashes where they protrude on the inside of the head after they've dried?

  • beautiful as always its always a treat when these go up.

  • I'm not sure if someone has already asked this before, but when using watercolour pencils, do you dip them in water before you start drawing with them or not?

...And I just realized that I'm really stupid. I always thought working with pastels is difficult because when you make a mistake, simply just water won't take it off. Eraser... Why didn't I ever think of that? XD

And you're brilliant. Every face-up you do is so beautiful, so delicate. Can't wait to see more! ♥

  • @helsifish From her previous answer, she said she did not. It makes the core soft.

  • @OfWebsAndChocolates Ah, thank you. :)

  • Wonderful!! I got some Brevillier Cretacolor watercolor pencils for face-ups, but it felt like they were scraping off my sealant layers when I used them! They did take a small bit off of the lips, but if I didn't apply enough pressure, they wouldn't show up at all! Do you think I'm just using pencils that have too hard a core? Or perhaps my sealant isn't strong enough? I use Volks spray. Thank you for making these videos! I can't wait to see a boy face-up!

  • @UkraineAPH It is very possible that the core is too hard. The sealant shouldn't be the issue since I am using the Volks sealant too

  • Beautiful!!! Love your work!

  • Could you possibly make a video for the whole doll? Like adding the hair, body, and clothes? I think I'm asking to much....so I understand if you don't. :)

  • @AnimeAngel597 there are so many videos on youtube that show that, so I do not have in plans to make a video about it at the moment.

  • this is so beautiful !!

is there a name for those kind of dolls?

  • @ZOODeh These are called BJDs (Ball jointed dolls, Asian ball jointed dolls). If you google them up, you'll find a lot of information about them. :)

  • Could you please make freckles in your next video?

  • Ohman, I just love watching you work on faceups, it's inspiring~ Sorry if that's creepy! Although I do want to ask, so far on all these videos you're working on resin right? Would using all of the materials you use in the vids affect other types of doll "skins"(something other than resin) in a negative way?

  • @shawfam2 I have worked on resin and vinyl so far and I use the exact same materials for both :)

  • Not sure if it's been asked before, but what brand of gloss do you use? I've been using Tamiya brand gloss and it manages to stay a bit gummy or sticky sometimes :<

  • @AnnabellRuiz I used Tamiya gloss on this faceup and havent noticed any problem. Might be an environment issue? I am sure the gloss can get affected by temperature and humidity

  • If you ever mess up can you fix it or do you have to scrap the work?

  • Beautiful work as always!

  • Do you have a list of your equipment that you use?

  • @lynnlovesart Yes, you can find it on my blog.

  • could you do a freckles and moles video please?

  • @roguelioness if I am commissioned to paint them, for sure ^__^

  • More thanks for sharing, these videos are so inspiring and relaxing to watch. :)

  • Next : One of these elaborated faceups you did, with patterns and gardients :3

  • Thanks again Andreja ^_^

  • does the Tamiya TS-80 work well? Is it smelly?

  • I love your work and I think I'll follow your steps to face up my doll... wonderful!

    *_*

  • Wonderful, as always!
