@CJCA915 He hit the throttle because there is only one taxiway nearest to the aircraft but the taxiway did not connect to the runway it needs to take off, so running down the long runway with taxi speed is way to slow, so they throttle up a little to get to the another end of the runway.
@Rexang1 nope, that's regular procedure at KPAE when a frame is about to make its first flight. They just go to the opposite head of the runway and power up to TO/GA thrust and then engage spoilers and thrust reversers to avoid becoming airborne. That's what they call a "high-speed taxi test". Once they slow down, they taxi at normal speed to the end of the runway, turn back and then take off :)
