I finally got one of these even though I said I wouldn't and mine has the full siren sound effect and not the quick chirp. I took the time and tested all the Onslaughts in the store where I got mine and only about 1 out of 5 of them has the full siren. If anyone out there is looking into buying this make sure you test the sound effects and you may get lucky and get one with the fixed sound box. Dont be shy, press the button; it says TRY ME anyway.

I really like this toy. It's great for display and playability. I just learned the chirp sound is a flaw in the electronics. It supposed to be a siren sound as you keep holding down the button. It was fixed in the Hardhead version.

Mr. Peaugh, i would like to point out that youre a good reviewer, keeps to the topic and you have a good camera focus but there is one thing that to me makes your reviews have the same effect as a mathclass (no offence), your voice is too calm and mellow, i dont know if youre required to keep that tone due to location and situation, if its actually your everyday speaking voice or if you chose this tone of voice for your reviews. So as a friendly suggestion: try to sound more "awake" and excited.

no, the leader class figures are always beta, because they are bigger and have speech sounds not just vehicle sounds

Hell i stumbled upon my g2 Grimlock that i brought back in 91 when i was cleaning out my drawers today, dont know why he strayed away from the box of transformers i had in my closet, but it brought back alot of memories as soon i saw it. It was the diecast plastic fusion transformers that came out back then, i have all of the dino bots that are like that, grimlock is blue, triceratron is green, bronchiotron is purple and terasaur is red, the store i brought these always had off colored versions

I really hate the wheel gimmick. I like the wheels to move freely. That one wheel kind of ruins it. I like the figure but they should have thought about the wheel.

I just unscrewed the leg panel and pulled out the gear in the middle. I saved it in case I ever want to use it again, but not the sound doesn't go off every time I touch him in vehicle mode, and he rolls freely.

I am really impressed by the way they designed the lower body. Considering that it consists mainly of the flaps of the outer frame of the vehicle mode folding together, you would think it would look very "frail" like the legs of rid ultra magnus. Yet it doesn't look hollow at all, and in fact it looks very compact and I find it awesome how they tuck one of the wheels into each of the legs.
