Nah, Page was way cooler than Plant, and John Paul Johns cooler than both. Plant sucks on too many recordings and is always too drunk to really sing.

Plus, if by recordings you mean studio versions, then I have to disagree with you. He always sounds fine on studio recordings, just later in Zeps career he developed a different sound.

If you mean live, sometimes he did have bad nights, but doesn't anyone? And booze/drugs, while are bad for anyone, didn't really affect Plants ability to sing, I think...

Plus, would Zep really be Zep with Roger Daltrey, or Freddie Mercury? It needs Plant to be Zeppelin.
