  • What was this taken from? It looks and sounds like it was professionally filmed. Was this commercially available?

  • Beautiful!

Tell me more peterdelica2 about what you know about Sting. I am really interested.

I have been a fan for more than 25 years, and I have great respect and admiration for his phenomenal talent. However, I can tell that Sting has narcissistic personality traits based on his presumptuous demeanor.

And, yes, I often wondered if he ever had a thing for/ fling with Ms. Dolette...

  • @Rena721 sorry to say sting is not a nice man he is a great singer & song writer but as a man no I know him & his family very well

This song would be nothing without Branford Marsalis on Sax

  • @Rena721 sorry to say sting is not a nice man he is a great singer & song writer but as a man no I know him & his family very well

  • This song touches my heart. Listen, those in love try this: put this on really loud and make love with your partner - you'll do things and feel things you wouldn't normally do or think of or feel - it's liberating and moving and such an erotic song - it's like a 9.8 on the goosebump scale when he hits the high "...I'd go outta my mind but for YOOOOUU..." thanks Sting - love that whole cd

  • "my mistress eyes...are nothing like the sun": my fave line in the song. sting is one hell of a songwriter

  • Sting should never cut his hair.....Hair is made of carbon (which acts as a radio receiver) - The strength of an artist has some primeval connection to hair!

  • I think this is his best album.

  • He truly is magnificent, I heard this was inspired by "The Vampire Lestat" novel by Anne Rice. God, he would have made a great Lestat.

  • ooohh... and not forgetting this one:

*We have a lot to ask

We have a lot that we need to say

We have so much to do

And all we need is another day

Beneath the desert moon I call you

Beneath the desert moon I sing

Beneath the desert moon so lonely ...*

  • Kenny such a wonderful musician, we'll remember you forever!

  • good song for a wolf man movie

  • Wow. I am officially a Sting fan. I NEED to get his cds now!

  • Amen. I had one Sting CD for years before I heard this song, and I liked that CD just fine, but one night I heard someone play this and then went running out to get all of his music...this one just did something to me.

  • Was this the Tokyo concert, ca 1987?

  • branflakes and kenny are on fire!!, so much soul, musicality and knowledge in those solos..

  • I agree, I am glad to have Sting's music in my life. It is exceptional, lyrics, music, viewpoints on life. It has moved my spirit, my heart, made me glad, and sad

  • hermoso sublime esto es un jazz del cielo ... sister moon preciosa la primera vez que la escuche era 1988 y me quede boquiabierto. wow

  • The jazz band is so great that everything comes out so delicate...expecially the piano man and the saxophone player. The lighting is also very alluring.

But it is regretable to say that the lady in this video is not charm enough to be the sister moon ...

  • one of the most sensual songs in history

  • OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! This is my FAVORITE Sting song, and I always hoped I might find one of the live versions. This was so amazing, and Kenny's solo was spectacular!

  • nice song pure jazz

  • Yeah,I also like this song.

but his long hair....how about that...?

  • What a beautiful song! (...just one more by this man...)

  • Very strong images of the moon and its seductive allure in the lyrics. Sultry melody.

  • From when is this song?

  • From Nothing like the sun tour.

  • 1987
