Great voice, Keep it up! You definetely have a chance at becoming more in music. I will say this though, broaden your horizon a little.. dont be too safe with your voice, everything you sing sounds sweet, but try to put a little more risk and "dirtiness" behind your vibrato and use your stomach more on low notes and you could go very far. What I understand from Madilyn's situation is that she uses the guitar as a tool in order to support her singing. That is, if she become famous, she'll be famous due tor her singing, voice. To become famous, somebody has to do his/her own songs. Making compositions require some musical knowledge and also creativity(or talent). I can see she is talented. In my opinions, talents OUGHT BE REVEALED, just saying ;) :)

Playing guitar requires mathematic background (don't say lol). @bekomach correction - most artists nowadays play the songs someone wrote for them.. it seems like theirs because they were first to sing it, but most of the time they didn't write it.
not to say that I don't agree that a lot of the great classic artists (if not all) also wrote original music.

As to real musicians, well then there mustn't be a lot of real musos in the charts, since few seem to write their own material. Hell, I love Peter Wolf to dead, but he's not mainstream, but he can do guitar, write his songs/music etc. Same with an oldie from the 80s - Nik Kershaw - he can play guitar, bass, drums, keyboards/piano, sings and writes all of his own music..

Another perfected, slowed-down cover! I liked The key you chose- Low enough for you and it keeps the high notes of the pre-chorus / chorus from peaking above your falsetto. I know you could sing higher, maybe 2 or 3 keys, and keeping it soft shouldn't sound pitchy. Just some ideas. Love it all!!!
