I went through neighbor hell myself I think I didnt sleep one weekend for a goddang year there was a couple younger guys upstairs and they used to just be partying every weekend and then on top of that the stair well in the hallway, it would sound like elephants were stomping up and down the stairs OMG it made me SOO mad, everyone in the apt was complaining but it took them about a yr to kick these idiots out-I HATE BAD NEIGHBORS and oh they werent fat either just a bunch of noisy bastards

I've lived in 4 buildings in North Texas that have this noise problem too...same stuff I have heard for years....Poor construction. Welcome to current apt life folks.

thats the same exact problem i have with my upstairs neighbor...he does all that noise til about 3AM everyday...and apartment management wont do anything about it....

This is *exactly* what I have to put up with. Every day. I thank god for the period of time she goes out most evenings... but then experience the flipside of her stamping home drunkenly. And she actually *is* a fat neighbour. I have nothing against considerate, kind fat neighbours, but when they're like this, the 'fat' part becomes doubly offensive. And noisy.

I sympathise big time.
