  • How can you keep the water so clean?

  • Cute fish. I have a lot of the same fish as you, along with turtles in my tank.

  • Is it ok to put 10 cichlids and a razor back musk a red eared slider and a painted turtle in a 125 gallon tank?. Also how hi should the water be for turtles. Pleas help!

  • nice video

i just put 2 turtles in my oscar tank , they always float they dont swim deep only on the surface !! any idea why ? please answer =D

  • AWWWWW

  • Ok, I see it now:) you should show the basking area, how its heating, lighting etc.

  • Do they have any basking area?? They should!

  • @EkoS7 ya u can see a floating dock one at the beginning

  • how is your PH? Is the turtle fine in higher ph water???

  • What do you have to do to make the water safe for the red eared slider. I have a 55 gal fish tank, it's empty now but I plan on putting fish in and my sister wanted to put her red eared slider in the same tank. What other fish get along with red eared sliders

  • @TrynaGetPaid1991 I have a painted turtle and a RES, large fish they can't eat helps the problems.

  • thats much that is here in the netherland 273 1 liter cola bottles!

  • @sittip

Non! Turtles are carnivores! While some turtles naturally prefer fruit and vegs. It's down to the turtle. My turtle is 5 and he Dosent bother with my fish but now and again there's one missing. So sometimes he does fancy a treat!

  • help..what kind of fish can i put in an aquarium and live in harmony with 2 small turtles..!??

    what fish??

  • help..what kind of fish can i put in an aquarium and live in harmony with 2 small turtles..!??

  • Is There a land part

  • this is probably one of the nicest tanks iv seen on youtube

  • how do u set up a freshwater sump or do u have any videos in mind so i can look @ em i jus got a 72 gal fluval aquarium today?????????????????

  • @IRONMANREDNGOLD Sump came with it when I bought it

  • beautiful tank u got there

  • have you had any problems with turtle agression?.. my RES have killed all the fish i ever tried putting with them lol

  • @MXZCharlie Of course, they ate my yellow and blues lol.. but as long as you keep em fed, they should be content

  • @MXZCharlie This shouldn't be a problem once your turtle grows out of that "carnivorous" phase. When they get older they have more of a vegetation like diet.

  • beautiful love the lighting

  • Wow I want a tank like that for my red sliders

  • dnt yuu have tew put arquarium salt in there for the cichlids?.

  • @kingty313 Cichlids are Freshwater

  • simple and beautiful , good job

  • nice

  • that looks nice

  • it needs a rock to lay out on

  • wooooooooooooooow beautiful aquarium, ur fish are exotic, and turtle so cute, hats of 2 u. dis aquarium is a beauty.u have maintained it very well keep it up

  • nice tank. it is very calm.

  • I love your tank! It so nice and calm :) My tanks are full of jumping and chasing :/

  • thats sick dude

  • 72 gallon tank.. wow.. that must be quite a job to clean it.. I got a 33gallon tank with 2x 6 inch sliders and they need an upgrade.

    Nice set up!

  • @sliq1 Not really, I only change the water once a month. The 20gallon sump works pretty hard.

  • @sliq1 red eared sliders should have a 125 gallon + so please buy that big a tank or give them away

  • I'm thinking of getting a red ear, would they be ok with my 2 blood parrots, and jack dempsey in my 55 gallon? The fish are about 3 inches and the red ear would be 4 inches.

  • @darthgir2 You'd have to try them out on a trial basis.. and if it doesn't work, remove the fish

  • @JSoriano23 Thats what happened. She tried to attack my blood parrots so I moved them to another tank.

  • How long have your turtles there with the cichlids?

  • will they attack the fish

  • do the cichlids breed? if so, do the turtles eat them?

  • Hey, how much would a set up like this cost you? I'd love to have a tank like yours (with turtles, fish and a light inside of it ) in my room to fall asleep to at night. That'd be Amazing!!!! BTW how do you keep the water so clear, and could you post more videos, maybe longer ( I know you just posted a new upload, but I still want to see more). =)

  • @smooch357 Got it cheap on Craigslist for $300, and it's pretty clear since I have good filtration (20g sump) and we'll see about a future video. :)

  • what are the name of the fish pls tell me

  • @BASsistJas Check out my new upload, they're Jags, Jack's, and Jewel's

  • i love your tank!!! its perfect.. i have a cichlid tank and i m thinkin to put a turtle too. do you think i can have a turtle without a lamp?

  • @SaNTaSiMoS I don't have a lamp, just make sure he get's Vitamin D through food.. and maybe have the tank open to natural sunlight

  • Oh remember that I raised the turtles with the fish since they were babies... just fyi.

I'm betting if you threw a 6" turtle in there that he might just have a little feast!

  • Some of my fish since then have been eaten, check out the latest video update I posted in my profile.

  • but u shud get a lamp so the can bask. even a regular bulb atleast.

  • what is your pH at? I have a snapper and cichlids together and need to buffer the pH up for the cichlids...

  • i have a 2 in. mississippi map turtle in a 55 gal. and i was wondering if i could get three small cichlids to live and grow with him??? someone plz answer soon! : )

  • Cichlids are fast! Try it out and start with one and see if your turtle attempts to get him

  • Dude Honestly you did it !!!! Congrats on a perfect looking tank , How do you keep the turtles in order ???

  • They all grew up together! It's like they family! LOL. They DO however, eat ANY yellow fish I throw in there and even some of the small guys. Right now I probably have about 15 in there, all looking pretty healthy. My Jags layed eggs, and they even hatched, but someone, I'm guessing RES's got to em.

  • one beeautiful tank

  • Thanks.. it's not as overcrowded anymore.. my RES's got hungry.. all the little ones are gone :(

  • wahht?! i wanted to put my 2 inch turtle with my angelfsh and tetra, but if he gets bigger he might want to eat them :PP
