-No, his hair will not be all white by the end of the game. This is widely circulated fiction. It will be this game's equivalent of the Devil Trigger that will make his hair white.
-Vergil will not be Vergil the way we know him, but a similar character is slated to appear.

If Ninja Theory wants to be unique and new then don't use DMC just because the fans love DMC from Capcom. If you really up to the challenge create your own story and title of the game as well. Changing the format of an original story is not even a challenging part as an artist or director. It's just an excuse to get the fans from the original story to like you like what your doing now from DMC. Why don't you create your own story and game instead using DMC.

i really like Dantes new look. its like his darker side from when he just found out about this darker world. In all the other games hes had plenty of time too break into the idea of the demons but its all new too him in DMC5. obviously i still like his old look but this one makes the game seem more demonish.

I think this might be a cool game (then again, I've never had 'good taste' in games or movies according to the general public). I think I see some patterns here between this game and Castlevania: LoS though... gotta wonder if CAPCOM took a leaf out of Konami's book.

@101IkkiTousen Um, I think he is pissed that it was outsourced...see if this game were anything OTHER then an outsourced Devil May Cry REBOOT (not a prologue, a reboot), it would be amazing, and not have nearly as many haters. I have been playing Devil May Cry since the very first one and I gotta say, Capcom's retarded decision to outsource this game to a mediocre company like Ninja Theory is what's going to kill the buzz for a lot of people.

Despite his look, I think this is going to be a great game. It seems like the same voice actor too, and the gameplay looks fairly similar to the past games. A lot of people saw the character change and have instantly wrote this game off as bad. Unlike them, i'm actually going to wait until the game is out and play it before I judge it.

The song is probably a game exclusive song, guys. Like how in the other games they had songs like the boss music that was done specifically for the game in DMC3. So the song will most likely be released when the game is.

@supernatural3121 In terms of story line it's a prequel, however, i've also read that it's a reboot/alternate universe kind of deal.They've kind of said different things so don't quote me 100% on that, but I did read it in some articles on IGN. It's on the wiki too, if you trust the wiki.

I only just now read that post that it's a parallel universe with a different Dante and NOTHING to do with DMC. That kinda confuses me though; why would they call it Devil May Cry if it's a different Dante and a story with nothing to do with the original - and much missed - Devil May Cry???

It's actually supposedly a 'parallel universe where Dante is a different sort of character'. I now know that it has nothing to do with the storyline, but the only thing I don't get is why Capcom is using Dante in it and why it's called Devil May Cry if it has nothing to do with it. No need to insult, you know

I think this might be a cool game (then again, I've never had 'good taste' in games or movies according to the general public). I think I see some patterns here between this game and Castlevania: LoS though... gotta wonder if CAPCOM took a leaf out of Konami's book.

I should note that I am quite the hater, really, but I don't find this bad, yet. It could be great, it could be terrible. Imagine - as you advance, you'll find Rebellion, Dante eventually goes all white haired and shit. That could happen, and fans could stfu. I just saw Dante pulling shit toward himself, and that's the only thing I needed with Dante in DMC4 that I didn't have (and Nero did), so am I going to cry? Fuck no. I am going to try it out first. That hack n slash could be awesome as fuck
