there was absolutely nothing wrong with this movie, it was just perfect! best dreamworks film yet, because the humor was more subtle than say Shrek, and it actually gives a moral lesson and it's so intense in certain points, the characters are realistic and endearing and the flight scenes are just AMAZING!

ANDY HAD ISSUES...and he seems like a character that would soon need psychological help because he loved his toys so much. HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON SHOULD WIN THE OSCAR, it had more technological advances plus the story made sense, it was more intriguing than a story about a fucking grown up that can't let go of his toys...GROW UP! Fucking Andy...his whole life was just about playing with his toys? What a waste of time...no wonder he's an arrogant prick to his family. I thought he loved his mom...but in toy story 3 he didn't...he loved his toys more...what a prick. Toy Story 3 sucked...IT FUCKIN SUCKED.
The voice performances were a bit over the top in Toy Story 3... that it sounded forced and that they were just reading the lines. While how to Train Your Dragon was spontaneous with the dialogue, voice acting. Toy story 3 was like..."blocky" and the characters didn't have the spontaneity that they did in 1 and 2, which was the energy of toy story 1 + 2 ...toy story 3 DIDN'T HAVE THAT SPONTANEITY, it had rigid-one-line-at-a-time dialogue that sounded unnatural and awkward that made it suck!
Woody still does his stupid, whistle come buster routine...the film makers are still making buzz become deluded whenever they can, they re-used Lot So Huggin bear and chuckles the clown...nothing new...i feel cheated and i was a big fan of the toy story franchise...plus it wasn't even well written either...it was the worse exaggerated dialogue i've ever heard of. The score sucked compared to 1 + 2...Lee Unkrich directed this movie very amateurishly. It was a horrible piece of shit...that sucked!
PLUS...toy story 3 is SHIT!!!!! IT WAS FUCKING GAY!!! It frustrates me how people exaggerate over it, saying that it's the number one animated movie of all time...I don't think so...THERE ARE LOADS MORE BETTER ANIMATED FILMS THAN TOY STORY 3. Just because we grew to love these characters in 1 and 2, doesn't mean we have to love them in 3...In 3 there isn't any further character development for woody or buzz...it was just a plain waste of time. Woody stays the same, Buzz stays the same. It's GAY.
I like this movie better than toy story 3...I hated toy story 3...I don't know why people love it so much, the comedy was pure lame in toy story 3. It was just really shit. How To Train YOur Dragon should win the Oscar for best animated film...toy story 3 wasn't as good as toy story 2 or 1...It sucked and people just overrate that shit, just because they underestimate toys...IT WASN'T THAT GREAT!!! How to Train Your Dragon is way better...if only hiccup looked like woody...then ppl would see.
How to Train Your Dragon is a fantastic film and a B+ is a crap score for it, it has amazing characters for you to get involved with, and the dragon is so much fun to watch as he makes Hiccups life much harder than it already is, Very funny easy to watch, this film deserves a A+++ or to rate it better than a teacher would and give it a 10/10 or a 100%!!!!
I think what the most important moment of the movies is when Hiccup realizes what he had lost a half of his leg! This movie is about that's fair and it shows that life isn't perfect, it's not only about understanding thats good and that's wrong like most fairy tales do !
And i suppose you think James Cameron is like Michael Bay right? i bet you think he's some mindless shallow action filmmaker. Avatar was written in 1993 and Cameron didn't film it right away because he had to wait until 2004 to film it due to the technology. If you want a real trainwreck of a Sci-fi movie watch David Lynch's Dune, now there's a real steaming pile of crap and an insult to a great book.
How could he compare this to Avatar? Seriously. That movie sucked. This movie was amazing. Avatar started the whole "3D Movie" craze for 2010 and I really don't appreciate that, I don't know about you people. Avatar may have this "new" type of "incredible" (*cough, cough*) sort of directing - but that doesn't make it good.
Point being, HTTYD is a lot better than the over-rated garbage you call "Avatar".
It's worth more than a B+. It's worth at the very least and A, and A+ at best.
Avatar is shit...okay it's not shit but it definitely doesn't deserve the hype. South Park hit the nail on the head (excuse the cliche) when they called it Dancing with Smurfs.

Just watched the DVD and had no expectation. Got it for my daughter, and everyone in the family LOVED IT! Great messenge and animation. Too bad it didn't get better promotion. I would have loved to see it on Big screen.

While how to Train Your Dragon was spontaneous with the dialogue, voice acting. Toy story 3 was like..."blocky" and the characters didn't have the spontaneity that they did in 1 and 2, which was the energy of toy story 1 + 2 ...toy story 3 DIDN'T HAVE THAT SPONTANEITY, it had rigid-one-line-at-a-time dialogue that sounded unnatural and awkward that made it suck!

Woody still does his stupid, whistle come buster routine...the film makers are still making buzz become deluded whenever they can, they re-used Lot So Huggin bear and chuckles the clown...nothing new...i feel cheated and i was a big fan of the toy story franchise...plus it wasn't even well written either...it was the worse exaggerated dialogue i've ever heard of. The score sucked compared to 1 + 2...Lee Unkrich directed this movie very amateurishly. It was a horrible piece of shit...that sucked!

PLUS...toy story 3 is SHIT!!!!! IT WAS FUCKING GAY!!! It frustrates me how people exaggerate over it, saying that it's the number one animated movie of all time...I don't think so...THERE ARE LOADS MORE BETTER ANIMATED FILMS THAN TOY STORY 3. Just because we grew to love these characters in 1 and 2, doesn't mean we have to love them in 3...In 3 there isn't any further character development for woody or buzz...it was just a plain waste of time. Woody stays the same, Buzz stays the same. It's GAY.

I like this movie better than toy story 3...I hated toy story 3...I don't know why people love it so much, the comedy was pure lame in toy story 3. It was just really shit. How To Train YOur Dragon should win the Oscar for best animated film...toy story 3 wasn't as good as toy story 2 or 1...It sucked and people just overrate that shit, just because they underestimate toys...IT WASN'T THAT GREAT!!! How to Train Your Dragon is way better...if only hiccup looked like woody...then ppl would see.

How to Train Your Dragon is a fantastic film and a B+ is a crap score for it, it has amazing characters for you to get involved with, and the dragon is so much fun to watch as he makes Hiccups life much harder than it already is, Very funny easy to watch, this film deserves a A+++ or to rate it better than a teacher would and give it a 10/10 or a 100%!!!!

I think what the most important moment of the movies is when Hiccup realizes what he had lost a half of his leg! This movie is about that's fair and it shows that life isn't perfect, it's not only about understanding thats good and that's wrong like most fairy tales do !

Avatar was written in 1993 and Cameron didn't film it right away because he had to wait until 2004 to film it due to the technology. If you want a real trainwreck of a Sci-fi movie watch David Lynch's Dune, now there's a real steaming pile of crap and an insult to a great book.

How could he compare this to Avatar? Seriously. That movie sucked. This movie was amazing. Avatar started the whole "3D Movie" craze for 2010 and I really don't appreciate that, I don't know about you people. Avatar may have this "new" type of "incredible" (*cough, cough*) sort of directing - but that doesn't make it good.
Point being, HTTYD is a lot better than the over-rated garbage you call "Avatar".
It's worth more than a B+. It's worth at the very least and A, and A+ at best.

This is one of the best movies of all time.
It is the embodiment of the 4 stages of Truth:
First, an idea is ignored.
Then it is ridiculed,
After that it is violently opposed,
and then finally it is accepted as self-evident.
And it has a stealth anti-religious brainwashing theme too: "This is the book that tells us everything we know about every dragon we know of."
yeah how about we find out for ourselves beyond the 'good book'

Just watched the DVD and had no expectation. Got it for my daughter, and everyone in the family LOVED IT! Great messenge and animation. Too bad it didn't get better promotion. I would have loved to see it on Big screen.
