  • Well, unless my mind is creative, I've taken some astounding photos of beings I can only guess who they are 'supose to be. A couple were rather large!

  • People there are not fake!

  • Even if those fairy photos are fake, I think they're beautiful!

  • Sad old broads, with "no life" and "with nothing better to do" than to cause mischief. I understand a 16 year old doing it, but sticking to the story is just plain SAD. When a woman has no prospects, other than being a dishwasher, unpaid maid, and looking after brats.. I see why they do it. Doesn't make it right tho. Reminds me of a false rape complainant. No wonder women loose credibility when they try and make fantasy a reality. When a woman has a LEGITIMATE complaint, no one listens.

  • oh Gawd those so called "fairies", are so obviously paper cut outs. Is the WHOLE WORLD a pack of dickwads or WHAT !.

  • @starquant no they are not but the same reason as you watching this video and then taking the time to comment. you are searching too!

  • @smartandeasy not at the expense of my own credibility. Believe it or not... there is a difference.

  • Oh, sure, Randites. It's easy to dismiss the fairy photos as fake. But is that the whole story? "Though she admits the photographs are fakes, Francis still maintains that there were fairies in the bottom of the garden. 'I swear there are fairies up there. Or, they were there. There aren't there now.'" So, believe what you like.

  • @tapolna I prescribe Valium and booze for you. Tell me, was the ToothFairy and Santa hanging out with them as well?.

  • What interests me is that the one woman insists at the end that, though the pictures were fake, there WERE fairies at the bottom of the garden.

  • Thanks for the clip!

    5/5

  • An English treasure, still holding the fasination of people from all around the world. Fairies are real though, our project has captured them as solid beings. Love the video

  • The truth is, the fairies were only pretending to be made of cardboard so everyone would think they're fake and leave them alone. Unfortunately the plan backfired on them, badly...

  • ok the closet thing to a fiary i can think of is a dragon fly.... maybe thats what she saw?

  • I say those two grand mas where cool even if their hoaxsters hahaha

  • Ive seen loads of fairies but they were nowhere near the bottom of my garden!! no they were in soho peering out of dodgey shops !!

  • Never get tired of this story. Amazing now to think they fooled everyone. The fairies had contemporary hairstyles of the time. Looking back it seems so obvious!

  • Both women maintained that they did in fact believe in fairies and they said up until their death that the fifth photo was genuine and not a fake. I'm sure most people consider all of the photos to be fakes- but this is not what they said.

  • everyone was on fucking magic mushrooms on those days anything half-mysterious was immediately regarded as genuine,

and with idiots who were a bit famous like a.c doyle throwing extra oil into the pan, it was a recipe for something seriously fucked up.

and then one of them grannies still maintaining there were once fairies down there, get off it for christ sake!!!

  • Frances and Elsie have admitted, around 1982, that it was a hoax. They cut out the fairies from a book that one of them had about fairies. FAKE!! YES, IT WAS FABRICATED AND THEY ADMITTED IT!

  • Actually, they maintained up until their death that they did indeed believe in fairies and that the fifth photograph was not a fake. In many ways this is the most striking photograph. However, I am well aware that most people will think it's all a hoax, even if that is not what they said.

  • yes, she says that she saw them...

thank you for the video anyway!

  • so she DID see them? she said at 3:53 that she saw them and her parents made fun of her so she made fake photos. hmmmmmm

  • Yes. They both claimed to believe in fairies and to have seen them. There is a fifth photograph that they maintained was genuine up until their death. They do admit to having hoaxed the others though in a effort to get back at the adults for making fun of them.
