  • 7 dallars :)

  • We love you man

  • ur a good person <3

  • have you used this product? i really wanna get it but i'm having a hard time finding good videos that are actually informative and not shit or hsn commercial-type deals.

  • @ DimitriSantangelo lol

  • You are wonderful

  • the title sounds like tesco

    ever little helps

  • I feel like Petrilude posted this video and thought "I'm going to get so many annoying comments." hahaha

  • Thats just dumb, 7$? Lancome makes millions, and their products are super expensive. Donate yourself. And don't waste your time on a company that tests on animals.

  • @Chaoticshelly Just a little bit of advice, every beauty product you buy has ingredients that were tested on animals. Not just Lancome. So from your simplest two dollar eyeliner to your $100 creams and up it makes no difference. You want to start standing up to the places that use animal testing then stop using make-up, stop taking medication entirely, creams, shampoos and almost everything you can think of and then you and bitch about animal testing. If you can't, then shut the fuck up.

  • @Dreamcatcher61626 Even The Body Shop.

  • @Dreamcatcher61626 Actually not all products have been tested on animals, there are plenty of companies with ethical standards that do not. Frankly from your comments the world would be a better place if companies tested on shortsighted people like you rather than defenceless animals.

  • I agree. We all should support products that produced without cruelty.

  • your mouth is like amazing

  • iloveyou.

  • so saving animals is much more important, than saving children and helping them get through hard struggles? >.< wow. just donate, don't buy the makeup.

  • "Hey everyone! ALRIGHT, so..."

  • I'm a mixed race guy, want some makeup to make my skin look white, anything you can recommend ?

  • When I was in sixth grade one of my best friends was diagnosed with cancer. They found a tumor in his brain and it was devastating. He went to St. Judes and after about a year he was cancer free! He is still cancer free and we are seniors in high school this year. St. Judes makes miracles happen. Please donate everyone! It is such an amazing hospital.

  • Im going to get my mom to buy some.

  • this is awesome! I love people who love to give back!

  • I just think people should stop hating on Lancome on petrilude's channel. If you have a problem with their animal testing, go to them, and don't spam his video with lots of fighting. He's promoting Lancome's donations to St. Jude's, not Lancome itself.

  • Why are all the comments about animal testing? If you don't like animal testing, that's fine. You don't have to buy Lancome products. Just remember that the message of the video is about donating to St. Jude's.

PLEASE DON'T FORGET THE REAL PURPOSE OF THIS VIDEO!!!!!

  • I understand the need to donate, but I'd prefer to just donate directly, rather than buy the product that it tested on animals.

  • Here's the ironic part; most of the chemicals in cosmetics can cause cancer D: not all of them but most of them.

  • I'm just commenting to break the reply chain down there. And just saying, the whole point of buying this product is to promote and raise money for the oranization for St. Jude.

  • Omg. Get off your high horses. I guarantee you ALL use some product in your daily lives that was tested on animals, either now or originally. That doesn't mean you have to villify the company that no longer does it, or the person that made this video. He had good intentions, which seem to be completely be overshadowed. Josh is promoting a product he likes because there is a charity that will benefit. Call off the witch hunt.

  • I'm tired of people saying Lancome tests on animals. Who honestly cares?

You expect Lancome to test on humans instead of testing on, like, a monkey/rabbit?

And I bet half of the people who bitch about how Lancome tests on animals eat animals.

And you know animals are treated worse when they're used for food.

Bitching about how Lancome tests on animals won't stop Lancome from doing it.

I bet you guys don't even have proof and you just think they do it cause they're a skincare/cosmetic company.

  • @amanduuhful Finally someone is coming up with an opposing side to all of these Lancome refusers.

  • @amanduuhful Okay, first of all I agree bitching about it is kinda a waste. Putting an awareness in a humble manor is the way to go. Unless people actually take action and not use the protects well fine. I don't see why you would get so upset, people are still going to bitch. I personally love animals and wouldn't buy the products ( not that I could afford them anyway haha) but, other may choose to do so. I'm not a veggie nor am I perfect but, every bit helps. No need to go crazy over it.

  • At least they're doing something, unlike a lot of companies out there! Thanks for the information! :)

  • @dNcream09: That's exactly what josh says :-)

  • Every Lancome product has toxic and harmful ingredients that increase the risk of people developing certain diseases/disorders and ending up at a hospital!

Go all natural with your cosmetics people!! Do your research!

Using Lancome and other non natural products are harmful to our bodies.

  • @JeannettieP I agree....most chemicals in cosmetics cause cancer

  • advertising is kinda annoying but at least he's not directly trying to push this product by pretending that it a miracle.

basically if you wanted to buy this product anyway you might as well buy it when some of its proceeds are going to charity even if it a measly amount it is still something. but don't buy it JUST because they are going to donate..just donate directly. simple as.

  • It's great that you're promoting charity Josh, but honestly I hate it when companies make money out of it. It's only for marketing. If they really wanted to donate money, they'd give way more than 7$ per product.

  • Wow, 7 dollars?! THATS ALOT! Espacily since you cannot donate directly to the hospital the real amount of money. ./sarcastic.

I'd donate to that hospital, but not to lancome, they have enough money, I believe that LANCOME should donate money also.

  • YUCK..

  • Here's the deal: Lancome doesn't perform animal testing anymore, however, their suppliers (ingredients, chemicals etc) do. So at the end of the day, buying Lancome products supports animal testing industry. Please donate directly to St. Judas instead of spending $70+ on a product only to donate $7 while still profiting Lancome.

  • >.> I really wish that Josh would do a video response on the two comments that are Thumbs up'd. Because I want to better understand what is going on, and it gets confusing.

  • @MistressCheii Here's the deal: Lancome doesn't perform animal testing anymore, however, their suppliers (ingredients, chemicals etc) do. So at the end of the day, buying Lancome products supports animal testing industry.

  • Would love to support if only Lancome didn't conduct horrible experiments on animals...

  • You have a good heart Joshy..

  • I wanted to listen to the importance of the video but I just can't help but look at his beautiful face. Josh is soooooo cute!

  • why not just donate 80 bucks straight to st judes hospital?

  • @bubbleGUMMxx925 haha true.

  • yeah !!! just came back from the counter they said i had to make a purchase !!!!!!!!not a real freebie !!!!!!!!! im so mad

  • Buying something that is my day's worth pay? No

    Donating $10 bucks to St.Judes? Sure :)

  • I believe in supporting children's hospitals so I will donate on their website, but seriously? I couldn't just buy a $10 tube of mascara or something? Lancome thinks their so damn special.

  • I think it's better for people to just donate 10$ straight to st Judes, They donate more AND spend less. If lancome really cared, they would say this... instead of promoting their product. :| Lancome stuff is worth 100+. I think they're just trying to SELL SELL SELL and don't actually care about st. Judes.

  • cool!

  • I am in complete support of donating money to a hospital that helps sick children, but Lancome donating 7$ for each 95$ bottle of serum that they sell.

Listen to petrilude- go to the St. Jude's website and donate to them directly.

  • @omzzzzz you dont have to buy it. he said you could just go donate..

  • I personally feel if they're going to charge that much, they should be donating a lot more than $7. Even donating $7 of the price, they're still making a huge profit.

Instead of buying some overpriced crap, I made a donation straight to St Jude's. They are an amazing organization and I encourage every to donate what they can.

  • Thanks for letting me know about this. I haven't ran out of my first bottle yet, but today I just got another one! I hope this really does help the kids!

  • I'm not trying to be funny and I am sorry, as much money as these top companies have and they have the nerves to lie about these foundations? I would never support these snakes theses liars and these serpents. You should at least think about things before you present them to your subscribers. Just because its a dollar in it to make for you, doesn't mean it will last. This world is evil and i mean are you going to sit up and soak in it with them just to make an extra buck? You ought to be ashame.

  • Are you Ethiopian Josh? I know it sounds kinda random. x[ :]

  • Thanks for passing this info along =)

  • i would rather spend the $80 donating all of it to st judes

  • thanks for sharing but i would rather donate 80 dollars directly to st judes.

  • I will not be purchasing or using anything from a company that continues to regularly test on Animals. However i will be sending a direct donation to the childrens hospital, as i think its a great cause.

  • ur voice is so manly ... are you straight?

  • @you1tubers wow thats ignorant

  • @x0xJessicaLee i waz wondring nothing more nothing less... just you dont have to be mean to me

  • @you1tubers No, he isnt.

  • @you1tubers what does voice have to do with sexuality? he's gay.

  • @themeglacey first im just telling "him" what i think about his voice.. and second thing i waz wondrin' if "he" is stright thats it; not like that i mean there is a conection..

  • You're such a sweetie! If I waas in the US I would definitely donate to such a worthwhile cause.

  • cool i just let everyone know on my facebook thanks for letting me know

  • Didn't go buy the Lancome Génifique, but I did go to St. Jude's and donated!! YOU ROCK!! :*

  • : Every halloween i put together a halloween party fundraiser for st. judes.. and every little bit does count last year we were able to pay for one childs blood transfusion.. which intern saved a life! so awesome..

  • How much is Phan paying you to push this "charity"?

    ;-)

  • I wanna try it but no lancome thing is close 2 me

  • Comment removed

  • @UAskygal omg that is sooo sweet.......xxx

  • I like that you're the only one that mentioned that it's applicable in the US only. They never include Canada :(

  • Thx Josh, for helping to raise awareness of this fine chatity.

But I plan to donate the full $80 to St Judes. I already have enough skincare stuff in my arsenal- LOL!

Besides, giving to help others makes us more beautiful on the INSIDE, where it really counts, right? =]

    ~sky

  • ur so pretty >.<

  • Lancome tests on animals!!!

  • @rainbow234colors you don't resscue them with your comment!

  • I <3 you Josh!

  • wish i could donate but since i live in germany and have no creditcard i can't donate =( they should make ist possible to use paypal =(

  • All this discussion about Lancome and their testing on animals bla bla.. has nothing to do with you Petrilude :) You are stiiill freakin' amazing !!!

  • hey everyone, alright so.....

  • I'm all for what lancome are trying to do, but I think the fact that they're only donating 8-9% of the product price is a bit mean. Why not make it 15% and donate across their entire range rather than one product.

  • Two wows.. I guess the kindness & sincerity doesn't extend to your followers! Can't believe some of the ridiculous, selfish comments. Be careful folks, Karma can be a bitch.

  • Wow! This is the first Petrilude vid I've watched. A couple days ago I subscribed just off of the amazing photos. I'm blown away by the kindness & sincerity. Truly inspiring!

  • I keep thinking it says every little bit HERPES.

I double take everytime I see this vid

  • St. Judes is a wonderful organization. This was a nice and thoughtful idea. I can't remember the name of what I am using by Lancome (and too lazy to go look) but I am using it on my eye lids and it is 5x "something"? Thanks for helping us to remember St Judes. They deserve our help.

  • my 2 cents, for what it's worth..

it costs $75+ and they only donate $7 of that?! did they miss out the 0 by accident...?! i'm all for donating to good causes, but $7?! that's a bit of an insult, surely?!

  • oh thank goodness i dont live in the states so i dont hav to feel guilty for not buyin that crap.

id rather just donate seven dollars to st judes

  • Sorry Josh. I'll just donate straight to St Judes. I refuse to support a company who tests on animals, no matter what the cause is. Animals don't have a voice, yet humans do. So I'll be one to speak for them.

  • @giraffasaurous You are amazing!

  • @giraffasaurous St. Jude's collects data for use in research through animal experimentation as well.

  • @giraffasaurous best comment ever. This made me want to donate. Your words really touched me...

  • @giraffasaurous they test on animals thats

  • @bratzygirl799 That statement made no sense at all. o_o

  • @giraffasaurous it's good that you're going to donate anyways, but i personally think humans are WAY more important than animals. who would u sacrifice, your friend or a rat? testing on animals rly isnt all that bad. it's actually rly good.

  • @captainOBVIOUS2012 There are tons of other, better ways to get results for products that are tested on animals. But if it's totally cool for me to shove tons of unnecessary chemicals and junk down your throat and in your eyes & have your hands and feet bound while doing so, then lets get to testing on you & your friends. Btw, rats aren't the only animals tested on. Dogs, cats, bunnies, & horses, just to name a few...

  • @captainOBVIOUS2012 Excuse me captainOBVIOUS2012, I hope that you get far in life. You will need that considering you cannot spell "really" or acknowledge the pain of another. Selfish.

  • @captainOBVIOUS2012 Or not test on them at all. That's a cruel thing to say. Why are humans so much more important? There are many many cosmetics lines that do not test on animals. Just think, if there's that many chemicals in the product that they would need to test on animals to make sure it's safe, why would you want to put it on your face or body. Just Saying.

    Really*,

  • @giraffasaurous i love animals but i am over it stfu people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who cares so many companys test on animals!!!! there is nothing we can do about it ok!!!!!1 STFU ASS CLOWNS!

  • @3BsAlaska Are you serious? You're calling people ass clowns because they are defending animals? Yea, they may not stop testing but at the same time saying they do will change others perspectives on buying the products. You can't tell someone to stop. Yes, there is something we can do, not buy the products.

  • that stuff is 78 dollars!!!! and lancome only donates 7 dollars. umm can you say BS! i think ppl should just donate directly to st jude.

  • Did any of you whiners even listen? He is encouraging people who already use the product or who already had an interest in using the product to go buy it on this day.

I don't intend to buy this product since I can't afford it, but I can definitely afford $7 for St. Jude's.

  • St. Judes is a great cause. Lancome doesn't have to give any money to the cause to if you're already a user then you kill 2 birds with one stone. 90% of all money donated to St. Jude goes directly to research and care for kids with catastrophic illnesses. Their operations costs are only 10% of each dollar donated. Very few non profits can boast these kind of #'s. Weither you buy from Lancome or donate directly, donate!

  • Psh.. $7? That's all Lancome can donate from $80?

Pathetic. I'd rather donate $80 straight to St. Judes then support that pathetic money hungry company.

  • wow $80 thats a little expensive...might as well donate that to st judes instead

  • How come we are not talking about BREAST CANCER? St. Judes does not deal with Breast cancer. I dont know any kids who have it.

  • @tattoogoddess85 This isnt for breast cancer what are you talking about?????

  • @tattoogoddess85 - Just because you don't know any doesn't mean that there aren't any out there. Men can get breast cancer. The whole point of this to to bring awareness to a good cause. You can choose to support or not. Donate to breast cancer, just give back. What goes around comes around.

  • even a cheap company like E.L.F. give 100% of their proceeds to find cure for breast cancer with their dollar lip gloss. so Lancome suck and they are evil and greedy especially they test on animals. Just a marketing ploy. they make $73 dollar each bottle and it's still a lot of money they are making.

  • @kimmysoul E.L.F. donates to breast cancer? Nice! I never knew that. I was actually going to get some lip gloss from their website tonight! Thanks for the info!

  • @TheMariahVo not all of their lip gloss is the same. only one of them and it has breast cancer logo on it. Also they do other charities too.

  • @TheMariahVo it's the e.l.f. Pageant Princess Mineral Lip Gloss. it's in a pinky color.

  • I'll just donate the $7 and save myself the $73. this is just a tax deductible for lancome and a huge profit for them also. So no I don't support Lancome because they are greedy. At least Mac give 100% proceeds to charity when they did Viva glam.

  • Thanks for doing this video :) Although I probably wont buy the product due to lack of funds, I will probably go and get a sample and donate directly :)

  • I love how you pause slightly and decide to say "purchase" instead of telling everyone how much the product actually costs. LoL. But St. Judes is my favorite charity. Every dollar does help I'd suggest for people to donate directly.

  • Great Cause I Was Wondeing If You Could Please Do A Video On Concealing Dark Circles Mine Are Horrible. Thank You.

  • wow lancome is doing some marketing. I agree, donate directly.

  • <3 thank you for caring!

  • marketing marketing ......

  • Oh, and MAC does NOT test on animals. They're launching the CUTEST Kids Helping Kids Cards for the holidays! Every dollar of the proceeds goes directly to benefit kids living with and directly effected by AIDS. It's an amazing charity and adorable holiday cards. Everyone that visits a MAC Counter should pick some up :)

  • @413078291 false info.

  • @EmberflyLayouts iono bout the other companies but loreal does own lancome

  • @EmberflyLayouts you can check if you want to but I looked at leapping bunny and checked with Peta.

  • @413078291 It's true that Lancome doesn't, however - their suppliers do. So while the company doesn't test on animals (anymore) they still transfer money to those who do. That on its own is alarming, so I suggest you stop misinforming people about the company.

  • @ChaoticShelly that was actualy the point I was making, that and the fact that Sooo many companies do test on animals and alot of the time consumers have no idea that they are supporting something they are against. It is good to check on things like that.

  • Lancome doesn't test on animals. To clarify, their parent company isn't totally cruelty free, but lancome doesn't

  • @LadyD3L I find it very rude when subscribers try and promote their own personal channel while on another person's channel. Nothing like picking out one of the top guru's and riding on their coattails. Trashy!

  • @silk4me yea tell the other 500000 ppl who do it. Hey u gotta do wat you gotta do. dats how this system works, how else will you start off sumn&have ppl take a look at ur work; advertisments/promotions. THIS is how "I" want to do it & how others do it. I mean no disrespect but YOU spoke first&only in defense im saying all this.& its not like im saying anything wrong im actually just trying to put out the word for the people who might be interested. If youre not then youre not. point blank.

  • @LadyD3L ooohh. WORD TO YA' MOTHA! =]

  • Comment removed

  • @LadyD3L I wasn't talking to the other 500000 people, I was talking to you. Self promoting on other people's pages/channels is tacky. Plain and simple. Please, learn how to correctly use the English language. You just might come off looking like an educated individual.

  • @LadyD3L WORD!

  • i never knew that Lancome does Animal testing... WELL IF YOU GUYS DONT WANT TO SUPPORT LANCOME BUT WANT TO DONATE ANYWAYS, GO TO A GYMBOREE STORE! THEY DO THAT EVERY YEAR DURING THE HOLIDAYS! AND YOUR MONEY/DONATION WILL HELP MANY KIDS =] HOWEVER MUCH YOU WANT TO DONATE. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I USE TO WORK THERE AND I TRIED SO HARD TO GET PEOPLE DONATE TO HELP THESE KIDS SO LETS SUPPORT ST. JUDES IN ANYWAY WE CAN =]

  • I don't support Lancome, they test on animals. :(

  • Comment removed

  • @gogomaddie omg i couldn't agree more.

  • im glad you put the link in below, because im sure people would rather do that than buy something from Lancome :/ I just found out they do animal testing :( but then again, what company doesn't? It seems like anywhere I look, every company does some tests on animals it's so sad.. I've been vegetarian for 4 years and it's hard to find make up that is guilt free...

though this is a great cause for st. jude, I may just visit the site instead and donate directly :)

  • can you do a video about ur gauges? i really want to get em but i would only trust someone like you to show how u clean them, etc

  • you have the cutest little grin!

  • I'd do this except I don't support make-up companies that test on animals. I donate to St. Jude's a lot without the help of cruel companies

  • ....says the @satanicsexaholic. I wouldn't ever in my life support Lancome. Why would I waste $80 when I could donate $7 to St.Judes and not support animal cruelty?

  • @omzzzzz That's why he mentioned that if you are not interested in buying the product for you to donate directly to the hospital.

  • @omzzzzz he also mentioned going to the website directly to dontae -_-

  • @omzzzzz You're not pay 80 to donate 7, you're purchasing a luxury skincare product, with the added benefit, that a worthwhile charity will receive 7 dollars in donations. I know, it's just horrible. Rolls eyes*

  • @omzzzzz Did you even watch the whole video? He gave two other options. So congratulations, I have a cheer for you: PAY attention, pay PAY ATTENTION.

  • @omzzzzz I agree, and I wish that all the gurus would just stop promoting it. I can donate $80 to St. Judes directly and that is $80 that will go towards St. Judes. Lancome just wants to advertise their product under the guise of helping kids. I like the fact that you can get a free sample and donate as much as you want online, but only donating $7 when the product plus tax costs $80+ is downright ridiculous, especially when you consider just how high the mark-up on this product is.

  • @omzzzzz yah, they should either donate all of it or at least half of that not just 7 bucks phsst!!

  • This isn't about animal testing, the ways of Lancome, vegan diets, or any of that bull. This is about DONATING MONEY to a children's hospital. Period.
