This series was far better animated imo. They should totally have made it more true to the book though. There was loads of ruthless killing in the book though. Funny to see how they sidestepped it all.

I agree. the series has good animation. I've never red the books but I might sometime. There might not be as much killing and violence as in the books but you gotta remember they made this to be a children's show. And if you ask me this children's show is by far better than most of the crap they patronize kids with today.

Absolutely shouldn't have been as violent as the book. They still stayed true to who lives and who dies and that's really hard to do in a clandestine way for kids. They pulled it off.

I've read all the books, I always relate to the vermin more. Rule of thumb for all the books. Vermin = going to get killed. It's not fair!

@airstrikedomination It's played by lots of things. It's orchestral. The beginning is French Horn and thereon it is mostly woodwind instruments and string instruments, with a choir in the back.

Then it gets near the end and the whole orchestra comes in.
