I've found that when doing a guys' make up, the key is to buff if using powder makeup, buff buff buff, buffing is gonna blend the powder and your skin and if done right, it's gonna look gorgeous, also adding a finishing spray is gonna give you a more natural finish (this is specially important when doing guy's makeup)

Wet your face with warm water and wait 30 min without using any moisturizer or lotion. If it feels tights then it's dry. If it's all shiny then oily. If it seems pretty normal then neither. It could also be just oily in certain areas, like your nose or cheeks. That's called combination skin, which is what i have. But I'd use some sort of moisturizer even if it's normal skin just to be healthy. Hope it helps. :)
